I was not looking forward to the search for a new sectional sofa and by the time we got to Slumberland (our fifth and final stop of the day) I was not feeling very positive about what weâd seen so far. We had a small space, with a certain layout the sofa had to be to fit - not to mention that my wife and I both had to agree on color, fabric and firmness. đ Uh-oh. After making a lap around the store, it looked as though we had struck out again. (Which was surprising because the store is huge!) Enter Krisann, who would make the impossible happen. Thatâs right, within 24 hours of walking in to Slumberland, we bought a sofa! And a sleeper sofa too! We had no idea we could customize most of the sofas to make a sectional to meet our needs (size, fabric, filling). This was not an option at any of the other stores. Krisann knew everything about every piece of furniture, fabric and what type of cushion it had that was in the store! She patiently explained it all to us and guided us to different showroom pieces so we could sit, feel and look at them. Before we knew it, we had it narrowed down to a few choices. Howâd she do that?!? We were able to check out some fabric samples and the next day we made our choice. Shocking! It NEVER would have happened without Krisann. She is awesome!    Read moreUpdate 12/30/2020: bought a headboard for my son's bed. The frame they sold me doesn't match up to the headboard. The headboard can't stand up on its own..... The headboard can't be jerry rigged to the bedframe they sold me ( although they recommended I go to menards to purchase bolts to do so... Nothing lines up to do that)..... Will try to return when they open. Another terrible experience at this Slumberland in cedar falls. Never again. I've learned my lesson.
2017 purchase: Most of my house is slumberland furniture. Usually very happy with it and the service. The slumberland in Mexico Missouri Amazing five stars. In cedar falls: We bought a table with the warranty and the table became damaged. So we contacted the warranty company in January and are finally getting our replacement end of April. It was not a easy process. I was never contacted, I always had to initiate the call. Even after the company agreed to replace the table I had to call slumberland for the replacement. The product is better then Ashley furniture, the warranty not worth the hassel, and the service was only average in Cedar Falls. I was given a good deal but in the end I felt nickeled and dimed. Will I continue to use slumberland? Absolutely. Will I do the warranty again? No! Had the warranty process took two to three months probably would have given five stars. But four months going on five months??.... Would have liked to have seen more initiative from both warranty company and slumberland but they probably wouldn't make as...
   Read moreOrdered a couch and loveseat (standard delivery 6-7 weeks) waited 8 weeks and had to reach out to Slumberland and were told they were on back order. (which I completely understand due to Covid) We waited 2 more weeks per their provided info and had to reach out again to be told it was pushed back. Fast forward to today and we are being told mid to end of Nov for it to arrive to the warehouse (not to mention we have no furniture upstairs for the holiday now) and that's assuming it doesn't get pushed back again. Best case scenario our items are on a 15-16 week delivery timeline and the only thing they can do is give us free in home delivery. (which was already stated they would provide for us) OR we can spend more money on in stock furniture. In a 2 year period we have purchased an Ottoman couch, Adjustable bed and frame as well as a queen size sleeper sofa. We were excited for the new loveseat and couch but it has really turned into a nightmare ordeal with very little customer service (to be fair it has gotten better once I went in person to talk about it) seriously considering canceling and buying all future products elsewhere....
