I took my granddaughters Apple laptop in for replacement of damaged screen. Was told they could order new part and the amount it would cost with estimated time for shipping and repair. Paid them upfront for the parts and labor and waited for a phone call to let me know it was done. After the date I was told it should be ready I waited for 1 week and called them to find out it was done. My granddaughter picked it up and when she got home turned it on and only half the screen was working. I took it back and was told it was a bad screen, so they ordered another one. I waited the estimated time I was told it would be for the part to be in and time for repair again, and same as before no phone calls. I made a number of phone calls and stopped in to check how the repairs were coming along and was told still waiting on parts. They final got the new part in and replaced it and then was told they needed the plug-in charger because the battery was not charged up enough. (I would think a computer repair shop would have one but quess not?) Took the charger in and waited for them to call me to come pick it up. No call so I stopped in again and was told it may have a bad battery, or something else may be wrong with it. I did get part of my money back after they sent the 2nd screen back for credit. I don't understand why the 1st screen would at least come on, but the 2nd screen wouldn't and then told it may be the battery or something else? I had to make all the calls to check up on the repairs or stop to see how things are going on the repairs. Very poor communication on their part about the whole ordeal. Read moreEDIT: the reply to this review is the owner lying to attempt not taking responsibility and is actually disgusting. If you read other reviews you will find the same thing. I was trying to give them benefit of the doubt but I'm done with that. Avoid this place.
The people were nice but I feel like I got scammed. Took my PC that won't turn on in for the advertised "free 15 minute diagnosis", called back 2 days later with them telling me they forgot to call back, they said their guy looked at it for an hour-ish longer to diagnose it(without my knowledge they were gonna do that to begin with) and they still don't even know what's wrong with it. So I gotta pay a decently large fee for zero progress made on what's wrong with my PC and I can't go pick it up unless I pay them.
I hope a small business like this can communicate better with customers and learn how to do things better. No offense to them for just trying to make money but I'm not the only unhappy, disappointed customer. If you're gonna charge me for a diagnosis ATLEAST actually diagnose it instead of telling me you don't know and can't say for sure without me paying you...
Read more7-7-13 was in there yesterday. the guy has stitches in his hand and wont work on anything for the next two weeks until theyre out. ok I got that. but he told me that he would help me fix the screen on my phone if I needed it, well I go to sears and get a screwdriver to disassemble my phone so I can get the screen off to fix it right. well three screws wouldn't come out of the back of it so I go back in to see if hed help take the three screws out. he picks the phone up looks at it says those are 5 sided screws and he had nothing to take them out with EVEN IF I LEFT THE PHONE THERE. so I go back over to SEARS knowing this guy is feeding me a load of crap and pull the other three screws out in the isle. took everything back home changed out the screen in an hour and the phone hasn't given me any problems since. 2 weeks...
if youre not going to work on my phone tell me so I don't look like an idiot trusting you with my phone. DO NOT GO HERE!!! if you need help with your phone get ahold me ill do it for cheaper and im not out there to make a buck so I wont screw you over like this...
