Dollar General — Local services in Centerton

If you are looking for things that may be less expensive and know what they cost else where you can pick up some bargains here. I just wanted a few solar lights for flower/yard decor. They had those & a few other cute garden things. I will also normally check her for seasonal wreaths or things to hang on a door. My Mother is in a nursing home & likes to decorate her door & put up a few things around here window that represent what season it holiday is coming up. I don't break the bank picking her up things that she enjoys here. So why 3 stars. Aisles are almost always cluttered with new stock & hard to get around. You get what you pay for, so I consider non-grocery/household items, like their seasonal things disposable. Meant to only last a few months. As long as you know that you can save money & find some great decorations. They do usually have fair price on groceries & household items like dish towels to...

The cashier that was working closest to the entrance today on (09/02/2023) was rude. Not sure what her name was but she looks like she smokes plenty of cigarettes and she had glasses with ratty brown hair (she was on the older side). Anyways, someone needs to put her in check! My younger sister and I were needing to use the restroom and we only saw the bathroom that said “MEN” on it!!!! Apparently that was the only bathroom available but the lady acted like we were stupid for not knowing that we were supposed to use a men’s restroom. I’m glad I didn’t buy...

Most employees are extremely rude and just seem miserable. The “manager” appears to be using some kind of illegal substance to get thru life. I went thru all the beef jerky sticks and found 1 out of 6-8 that wasn’t expired. I got a tea from the cooler, figured that would be ok. Got home, tasted weird…… expired in August 2023, it is February 2024 right now. Shelves are consistently blocked by product stuck on u-carts. The people of Centerton deserve a better...
