I had the pleasure of working with Mary on a truly epic multi-day session and it was the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. I loved collaborating with her to turn my ideas into fully realized tattoos. I have an eclectic taste but she was instantly on my wavelength, effortlessly able to work with the different styles and inspiration I brought to her. She made me feel comfortable, heard, and involved at every step of the process. I was offered gum, water, and fidgets that made our sessions extra fun and easy to sit through. Tattoo studios are kinda like landlords and tenants. Sometimes you have a good landlord with bad tenants and sometimes you have a bad landlord and good tenants. This place is the latter of the 2. Many wonderful artists reside here and they do amazing work, unfortunately the management is terrible. There is absolutely no privacy and its usually very chaotic and loud. Ive had several appointments where other artists decided it would be a good time to have a construction project in the middle of a session. My session is my time for myself and my artist, I find it unprofessional when management tries to jump in and tell me how I should have my tattoo done. A friend of mine recommended Dobsy to me and I couldn’t have asked for a better artist! Dobsy got back to me quick in scheduling an appointment and answered all my questions! He straight up blew my mind with how he took the ideas and inspo pics I sent him and drew up an amazing piece to represent two of my littlest loves. I get SO MANY compliments on my tattoo and I’m pretty sure I stared at it for 48 hours straight when I first got it.
