I had the exact same experience as Damon in the other reviews at around the same time. I still see Dr. Block because I am fortunate enough to have insurance and to be frank, I hate the process of going to a new doctor. However, during my yearly physical, he told me he HAD to resend scripts for my adderall since he moved offices (and these new scripts were going to be sent to a diff place closer to me at my request). I had never mentioned it or asked for this, nor did he present this as an option but rather an obligation. However, after the appointment I found out that not only would I still have to pay my co pay since it was billed as a regular appointment, but that it was due to the fact that he resent my scripts. AND I still had to go to the old place I went to to pick up my medication because it turns out the old scripts were the only ones any of them had in their systems. I tried to fight this but the billing department called once when I was sleeping (I work overnight) and left a voicemail but no callback number and never tried calling again. I tried calling the number they called from but it didn’t send me to them. Additionally, he didn’t perform every task he should have in my physical such as a breast exam. My husband was there THE ENTIRE TIME and can confirm what I am saying. I thought I was the only one who experienced this so I left it alone because hell we all know what it’s like to try and fight this kind of stuff. However, seeing Damon’s review made me feel as if this may be a predatory practice. If you can find another doctor, it might be worth considering more options, particularly options outside of Northwest. My previous doctor through them (Foscue at the Rogers location) told me in THE HEIGHT OF THE PANDEMIC that he had had Covid and was seeing patients, but it was okay because Covid wasn’t a big deal and the...
Read moreWent because I needed a TDap vaccine for work, was given a vaccine and received a call later that afternoon informing me they’d given me the wrong vaccine. Was told it wasn’t that big of a deal and only put me at a slight risk of a heart dysrhythmia and to come back and get the correct vaccine. Had to do this because I had to have the correct vaccine in a timely manner. Then they were kind enough to send me a bill for the visit where they mistakingly injected me with the wrong drug. Tried to have the drop it as I only owed my 20 dollar copay after they billed my insurance and eventually was notified if I didn’t pay it they would send it to collections. Wouldn’t go here. As a shared this Story I found multiple people with similar...
Read moreI do not recommend this location. I went in for a yearly checkup that should be covered by insurance. I was asked if I had any concerns and I said no. I was asked about my pre-existing condition with blood pressure and what my numbers were. I told the doctor. They wanted to change my medicine. Now I am being charged because the dr asked me about my blood pressure and that does not fit inside the guidelines of a wellness visit. They should explain that up front. THIS IS DUMB and WRONG.
Follow up to your response. I did contact your office to have this resolved before leaving the review. They listened to my experience and put me on hold to discuss with staff. They came back and told me this is correct and...
