I love having an Ace Hardware store in Central Point but Ray's seems to not really be committed to making it work at this point. Both times I have used the Ace section no one was in the department available to answer questions or point me to product. Maybe the person assigned to the Hardware section was on a lunch break. The manager came after being called was friendly but had trouble finding product. Twice when I went to the checkout the clerk could not find the price of a hardware object and called for assistance while I waited in line. One time I volunteered to go back into the aisles and search for the price tag. The clerk agreed to have me search for my own purchase! Say What?
The store needs to double down, get real and hire someone who is always available to answer hardware questions and know the inventory inside and out. In other words commit to being a hardware store similar to the Rogue River Store. Hardware to me is not a deli, or a bakery. It's nuts and bolts and a thousand bits of items that have specific uses. It needs a manager who can really run it or split it off into another building.

An left.
Anywho- I would be lying if I said I didn’t walk home crying. I could feel their eyes on me the whole time. I just wanted to look around for fun and got profiled. The irony? I have $500 in my wallet.
(I’ll probably go back as I understand that she has a job to do. An also given the fact that I dress like a broke high schooler an have many piercings.) just...

Like what? Oh also it's a little...
