Identity Board Shop Cerritos — Local services in Cerritos

I’ve been going to Identity Skateboard Shop for years. This is a newer location for me, but they still have the same great customer service that I’ve received from year after year. Little known fact: they use to be located on the north side of the Knott’s Berry Farm parking lot between Goodyear Tires and the Broken Yolk Restaurant in a strip mall circa 1980’s-1990’s ( between Stanton Ave & Beach Blvd. on La Palma Ave.) they moved and expanded to the Location on Beach Blvd. in the 2000’s ( that location is now closed) and now reside in their current location, in which I think is awesome, because it’s a smaller spot, and fits well because it has a more personal atmosphere and vibe. The Staff is very knowledgeable and care about their customers and they have a wide variety of what you need. It’s excellent customer service that keeps me coming back time after time. This used to be my favorite skate shop around LA and Long Beach. Never had a bad experience. Floor staff is always helpful. However, today I brought my stepdaughter in to shop and when we were told to go to the back to try on some items, we walked through an office with 3 Muslim adult men. They all stopped talking and creepily stared at my stepdaughter and didn’t even notice me following behind. Then they turned and saw me and I gave them a direct death stare. They all proceeded to speak to each other in hushed tones and two of them came to the back to watch me and my stepdaughter by the changing room. I told them to watch themselves and looked at them direct in the eyes as we exited and I covered up my stepdaughter. Never again will I enter those doors. Those Muslim men made us feel unsafe so much that I ran from there in tears. Again front desk staff amazing but I will not...

Ordered a deck on 12-19-2023. As of 1-17-2024 it hasent left the origin post office. Got usps involved and they said the package is lost. Tried contacting this store twice with no repsonse. Once through email and once through the shop app itself. Wont be buying from again. I know its a post office issue but ghosting your customers isn't a way to keep...
