I was introduced to power lifting at Phaseline and was very nervous about going to a crossfit gym. But all the crossfit crowd are really friendly and welcoming and it's a great atmosphere to power lift in. On the crossfit side, I've seen the trainer Tara send people climbing up ropes, to working with clients who needed to exercise from a seated position because they couldn't stand for all that long.
