I have given this place so many chances with my prescriptions. One bad experience after another, I finally decided enough was enough and transferred to a different pharmacy. The service is consistently slow and they are impossible to get a hold of. If you want to call and speak to someone about a medication question or anything thatâs not an auto-refill, plan on spending 30+ minutes on hold. This is true even if youâre a provider. A medication was prescribed for my cat that needed to be filled at a human pharmacy. My vet called me and said they tried twice and spent over an hour total on hold and no one ever picked up their call to request the prescription. I ended up getting it filled elsewhere.
Itâs one thing if this was a one-off bad experience, but this place has been chronically understaffed for well over a year. I went today with the intent of going through the drive-thru, but both lanes were blocked off. I asked a store employee who said it was because the drive-thru was âbrokenâ (??). So I waited in line for several minutes only to get up to the counter and be told my prescription was put back and it would take 1-2 hours to be ready. Not wanting to spend my Saturday hanging out at Walgreens, I asked if they had the same hours tomorrow, and they said âprobablyâ and straight up told me that sometimes they donât have a pharmacist and will have to close, but they donât know when that would happen. Isnât it kind of important for people to know if theyâll be able to pick up their medication, especially if itâs the kind that carries side effects if doses are missed? I asked how I could transfer my medications to another pharmacy, and they said I should have that pharmacy call and request a profile transfer. Remembering the issue with my vet a while ago, I asked if they would be likely to answer. The person said âif weâre not busy.â I mean, at least theyâre honest, but admitting to not answering calls and not even being able to guarantee your open hours is not a good look.
If your medication is completely optional and you like the surprise of the pharmacy being open or closed when you go, then this place probably wonât bother you. But for most people who have medications they need to keep up with and timing is important, this is NOT it. I wasnât even out of the store when I was on the phone with my grocery store pharmacy asking for the profile transfer (they answered after one ring!). Between the inconsistent hours, long waits, and inability to reach anyone by phone, itâs like this place is actively trying to drive away customers. I did try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after over a year of terrible service, there is clearly no intent to...
Read moreI had a FedEx return and this was the only place still open. I had a pretty big box and it was impossible for me to carry by myself. Not because it was too heavy, but the dimensions were large. I walked in and asked an employee if they had a flat or cart that I could use to bring it in because it was way too big for me to bring in on my own. The lady at the counter proceeded to tell me that they had dimension restrictions on what they could acceptâŚ.and called a guy to the FedEx counter. The guy told me to bring it in after I explained itâs size, so I did. Not a single employee helped me as I struggled to bring in this large box sitting on top of their tiny little shopping cart. In the process of bringing it in, I had to move their shopping carts out of the way while they all stood around and watched me. The manager then told me the box was too big, and they werenât going to accept it. So I put it back on the cart and brought it back out to my car by myself while they all stood around and watched again. Just wondering why someone couldnât have come out to my car to look at how big it was before making me bring it into the store just to tell me it was too big? And what wonderful customer service they have to stand around and watch me struggle to bring it in and out by myself. I wish I could give 0 stars. Go to a normal...
Read moreIâve spent 10s of thousands at Walgreens for prescriptions. Today as I shopped, I pulled the end of my sweater out of the strap of my purse, and a young shelf loader with a booming voice yelled to âput my items in a basket and not my purseâ. Iâm shaking with anger and humiliation. If this young woman thought sheâd seen something, at least she could have approached me and not yelled across a busy store. I do understand of course that there are hundreds of thefts these days. But hadnât she been trained properly? I think sheâs the type who likes to assert more authority than she has by making sure everyone around her could hear that she was âin chargeâ. Itâs a Saturday, so I couldnât speak with a manager and need to vent here.
Iâm a 62 yr old grandmother and a 30+ yr customer of that store whoâs spent an ungodly amount of $$$$$$ there, but no longer. I was so insulted. I just now transferred my prescriptions to the...
