Leeann Chin — Restaurant in Champlin

Was there about 2 days ago and it was completely empty. My partner and I were going to chipotle at first but Leeann Chin just sounded better at the moment. Upon entering the building we noticed it was completely empty. We were then greeted by gentleman that just didn’t look too happy. My partner ordered her food and asked if she could have half noodles and have rice. The gentleman said he could do that but continued to only add noodles and not the rice. As soon as she noticed that she then proceeded to mention that she wanted white rice. He took a deep breath and continue to serve our food. Throughout the whole process it’s just been super bad vibes coming from the gentleman. Maybe he was having a bad day I am not sure but it’s still not right to treat others differently because of how you are feeling. I’m very big when it comes to great customer service but this was not it The cashier that checked us out was very nice and you could tell she felt the tension that the gentleman was putting off. Keep in mind, the place was empty so it’s not like they were super busy. The food wasn’t great either. It lacked flavor, freshness, and wasn’t worth eating. We kind of wish we went to...

Visited here on 7/10 and had the fire cracker tofu and excellent service. Visited again today 7/12, wanted the tofu because it was so good. The balding white man (I assume the manager) asked my bf if he was also having the tofu and when he said no suddenly they were “sold out” and I could eat vegetables instead. When I didn’t want the veggies he rolled his eyes at me. He obviously didn’t want to make tofu for one person and it was easier to say they were sold out. We just moved to the area and will likely not be back after this experience. The lady working was awesome, she should be the manager.

Updating to a one star review. Learned I can get the tofu if I order it for pick up because they have no choice but to make it instead of make up lies to get out of having to make it. Just went in to Champlin location last week to get a special lunch for my 12-year-old daughter. It was 1 PM and there were only two customers in the restaurant at the time. The food looked like it had been sitting quite a while but this has been my experience several times before that as well. I was asked if I wanted fried rice I said no, white rice please. I noticed about 2 miles away from the store that I had been charged for fried rice. And didn't turn around as I wanted the food to be hot for my daughter. I went all the way back to the store because it's the right thing to do. The guy said he did not remember me but would refund the charge which he did promptly. He seemed annoyed with me and never even apologized that I had to come all the way back to the store.
