DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE
My husband and my self contact them to replace our windshield (mid May 2025) they work so fast on all the paperwork with our insurance and told us how much the rebate was going to be EVEN doing the strip on my windshield since my existing windshield had it (Rebate money or windshield tint strip NEVER HAPPENED) they even worked late to get this windshield paperwork set with our insurance (my husband was texting with the representative back and forth) I’m telling you late like 7pm, 8pm.
They came change my windshield and when my husband mentioned the check for the rebate money he was told that he had to contact the person who helped him with the replacement and he (the person who changed the windshield) was going to send an email regarding this matter, when my husband ask about the tint strip it was the same answer. When this “Representative” answered my husband (like a week later) she told him that things have changed and now he had to filled out a form online and then he will receive the money (This was NEVER informed to him before). Fast forward he did fill out the form and we waited (June came) my husband try and reach out again to this “representative or Customer Service person” but nothing a few weeks later she answered telling him “that she is been out of the office for a couple of days and she is going to reach out to someone so they can check on it” she never call him back.
My husband even went to the shop but NO ONE was able to help him, he only was told that some will reach out to him to make sure he gets the money within a week. AGAIN no one did, so I call this person who helped him setting up everything with the insurance (because she was so good and efficient when it was about getting money from our insurance) but with the rebate money NOTHING, when she answered she said that “we couldn’t do anything about it other than wait because this was a rebate money” meaning what? You lied to people so they can do business with you?
Today July 17th (2 months later) NO ONE has reached out to us to let us know what’s going on with this rebate “stolen” money.
Apparently they had to change the policy (the way they give the money to customers) on the rebate money because someone in the company was doing fraud. I can totally see that in this “Family owned business”
*This was not the first time we had done business with this company, even referred people and was going to refer more but with all of this going on I think we will look for another company and this time read the reviews before since we are not the only ones dealing with this rebate money situation, also don’t let them change my car windshield without all the...

I called 2020 Auto Glass on July 9, 2025 to schedule a windshield replacement, which was installed on July 12, 2025. When I set the appointment, I was promised solid workmanship and a $175 rebate, neither promise was fulfilled.
After installation, I attempted to use the adaptive cruise control on my 4Runner, which 2020 Auto Glass was responsible for recalibrating after dismantling and reinstalling the windshield. This recalibration was handled by the owner’s son and was done incorrectly. The result? My vehicle’s braking system malfunctioned on the road, nearly causing me to total my car. Imagine the risk, brakes slamming unexpectedly or failing to respond while approaching another vehicle. That is not safe.
The company did show sincerity in wanting to fix the issue. However, after a missed appointment, I was forced to bring my vehicle into their Chandler shop the following week which completely defeated the convenience of an on-site install. While the calibration was eventually corrected, the experience left me uneasy.
On top of this, I was promised a $175 rebate in the form of a Visa card. I was told this would take 20–40 days after installation. That was acceptable. But now, nearly 90 days later, I still have not received it. Since July 21, 2025, I’ve received multiple emails from Lacy at 2020 Auto Glass, each assuring me I was “on the next set of rebates being issued.” Week after week, month after month, nothing has been delivered.
I’ve even received direct texts from the owner, explaining personal and financial hardships as excuses for the delay. While I can sympathize, this is not my problem. I am a paying customer, and I was promised something specific. I’ve been told “next week” countless times, including a promise of a rebate no later than September 26, 2025, a deadline that also came and went.
At this point, I have been more than patient. Due to their continued failure to deliver, I’ve had no choice but to file complaints with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, the BBB, and the Arizona Registrar of Contractors in hopes of reaching a resolution.
I am frustrated with the broken system of unreliable contractors in this state, and I refuse to fall victim to false promises. If you value safety, honesty, and reliability, I strongly recommend you...
Read moreFind another company to work with! My wife and I are very disappointed in how the entire process was handled. #1 They told us in the beginning that they would be using factory glass. Almost a week after the initial phone call we didn't hear back about a scheduled date for install. I called again and they told us that they could not get the factory glass and they would have to install after market.. not a huge problem just not what we were told. I asked when could we get on the schedule.. we will get back to.. a two days later we get a phone call for a date. #2 My wife was at work when the installation happened. She was with a customer when technician showed up, he grabbed the keys and said he would be about a hour. When the service technician was done he gave her the keys and said have a good day. My wife finished her work day and when she got to her car both front A-pillars were hanging down and not properly reinstalled(see pictures). She was concerned about driving the car home. Thankfully , a coworker helped her reinstall them. When she got home I inspected the job and noticed that on both sides of the windshield they used too much adhesive/glue and it is visible on the windshield form inside the car. I called explain the situation. They told me they were extremely sorry for the inconvenience and that they would try to give me a little bit more money towards my rebate.. #3 The vehicle has self driving technology with lane keep assist as well as automatic windshield wipers. Replacing a windshield with these features the car needs to be recalibrated properly. That was not done. Every time my wife drives under a overpass the windshield wipers ture on. We had to have the dealer recalibrate the sensors. #4 One of the reasons we went with this company was the fact that they had a higher dollar amount for a rebate than other companies. We were told when scheduling that we would get a rebate once the windshield was installed. Received said rebate and found out that it is a third party company that hands out the rebates. This process would take 40 to 60 days before I received funds. We are still waiting after almost 90 days!! I have called in every week after the 60 days and have been told I would be paid out next week.. 4 weeks later it's the same story.... extremely...
