Updating this review: originally I gave it 5 stars. Everything was so nice here. Ugh. Man has this place gone down hill. 3 stars is pushing it and only because the park has a nice playground and bathrooms. The splash pad is HORRIBLE! So worn out and slippery. Several kids slipped, one hit his head. The sprayers barely work. The row of ground sprayers on the side don't come on at all. We were there for about an hour and suddenly the water shut off. The sensor wasn't working to turn it back on and it never came on again (while we were there). The sand area is now unusable and so disgusting! It's so sad because it used to be a favorite place. We won't be going back.
Great park! The kids really love the splash pad and the playground. There is a separate sand area but the playground area is bark. There's also plenty of grassy areas for playing ball with the kids and lots of sidewalk for scooters or bikes. I love that they have adequate restroom facilities and drinking fountains for times we do an unplanned stop. Plenty of parking as well. There is also...
Read moreI've been to this park a couple of times and my kids always have a great time. There's quite a few parking spaces and there's also public restrooms right there by the splash pad and playground area. The whole playground is covered which is great for the summer and all of the equipment looks great. To be completely honest the splash pad could use a little love. It all functions wonderfully but, between the harsh sun and hundreds of children running all over it, the flooring (it's not cement, it's something else.) Is looking worn down. There's a few slick spots where algea has managed to grow as well. In the end, none of it is a safety hazards and the kids have a great time. All in all that's what's important.
A side note, I've never used the bathrooms so I can't comment on their state but, I'd expect them to be wet inside during the summer because of the...
Read moreReserved the park for a company picnic. Worked with Ms. Loretta and she was amazing and diligent. Really cares about her customers. BUT I changed my dates so we can use the splash pad. I called the day before to verify it would be on. Whomever I spoke to (not Loretta) said they would be. I asked if it was something we had to do or if it was on them. Apparently, she was on the website seeing how it works... but she works there 🤔 Needless to say, I had some sad 4 year olds that were dressed and ready for the splash pad, but no functional splash pad. It's quite disappointing, to say the least, especially when it was one of the factors we chose that park and moved our dates to line up with the seasonal...
