I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE OUT OF CONTROL LIARS AND EGOTISTICAL NON CARING SALES PERSONS. THEY ARE THE WORST AND WHAT'S WORSE THEY DON'T LIKE WHEN YOU CONFRTONT THEM ON THEIR FAULTS. MY FULL COMPLAINT: DATED 6/22/25 @ 8:00 AM. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. THE EMPLOYEES, SALESPERSON, ADAM,, SALES MANAGER, JOE AND THE GENERAL MANAGER AND THE GIRLS, RUBY, BRIE, AND SHAY THAT WORK THE FINANCIAL PARTS ARE ALL PART OF A GAME TO TREAT CUSTOMERS AS BADLY AS POSSIBLE. THEY ARE ALL LAZY LOW ENERGY LIARS THAT WANT YOU TO BUY AND ONCE YOU DO THEY TREAT YOU WITH NO RESPECT AS A PAYING CUSTOMER. THEY ARE VAGUE, OBSTINANT, LACK CORRECT INFORMATION, LIE ABOUT YOUR ORDER, AND WHEN THEY ATTEMPT TO DELIVER YOUR FURNITURE, THEY LOAD UP ONE DELIVERY GUYS'S PENSKE TRUCK WITH SO MANY DELIVERY ORDERS THAT HE IS DELIVERING LATE INTO THE NIGHT 10 PM TO 1 AM. THIS IS TOTALLY IMMATURE, UNPROFESSIONAL, VERY INAPPROPRIATE AND UNORGANIZED METHOD OF DELIVERYING $1000'S OF DOLLARS WORTH OF FURNITURE AND THE DELIVERY GUYS ARE NOT EVEN EMPLOYEES OF THE STORE, THEY ARE 3RD PARTIES DELIVERY PEOPLE. SO THERE IS NO RELIABILITY OR ACCOUNTABILITY AND THE EMPLOYEES OF THE STORE DON'T CARE THAT THE CUSTOMERS ARE BEING INCONVENIENCED. ON 6/21/25, I WAS TOLD THAT MY FURNITURE WOULD BE DELIVERED BETWEEN 3 PM AND 6 PM AND AT 6 PM THE DELIVERY PERSON MARIO CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THAT HE WAS WAY BEHIND DUE TO MANAGEMENT'S DELIVERY SCHEDULING AND IT WAS MANAGEMENTS FAULT THAT I WAS NOT GETTING MY FURNITURE DELIVERED WHEN PROMIED. THEY OVERLOADED MARIO THE DELIVERY PERSON WITH SO MANY DELIVERIES AND SO BY 10:30 PM ON 6/21/25, MARIO FINALLY CALLED AND TOLD ME HE WOULD BE AT MY APARTMENT IN 20 MINUTES AND I TOLD HIM "NO" I'M TOO TIRED NOW. I'M 70 YEARS OLD AND I NEED TO GO TO BED AND TOLD HIM TO TELL THE STORE MANAGEMENT THE NEXT DAY ON SUNDAY, 6/22/25 THAT I NEEDED MY FURNITURE REDELIVERD ASAP. IT IS ALSO VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND INAPPROPRIATE TO DELIVER FURNITURE AFTER BUSINESS HOURS INTO THE LATE NIGHT, WIHCH FOR ME WAS 10:30 PM. I MY FURITURE IS SITTING IN A PENSKE TRUCK OUTSIDE THE STORE AND I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM ANY OF THE EMPLOYEES OR THE DELIVERY PERSON AS OF YET THIS MORNING. I WILL BE DISPUTING THIS PURCHASE FOR NON-DELIVERY OF GOODS PURCHASE VALUED @ $1,509.19. I ALSO INTEND TO CONTACT THE CHANDLER CITY GOVERNMENT TO ACQUIRE THE OWNERS NAME OF THE STORE, FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU THIS MORNING, LEFT A COMPLAINT ON THE STORE'S FACEBOOK PAGE AND FILING THIS COMPLAINT ON GOOGLE REVIEW. I ALSO PLAN TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH FACEBOOK AS THIS STORE IS A...
Read moreI do not think one single word that came out of the mouth of anyone I interacted with in this business is true.
I found a listing of an item on Facebook Marketplace that I was interested in purchasing. It listed only the financing price and no other details. I inquired about the cost to purchase the item outright and what the dimensions were. Sam replied that he was "just" the social media guy and didn't actually know anything about the inventory and invited me to go visit. I asked for the name of the store so I could call and get the information I needed.
I called and Amber answered and gave me the same song and dance about being just the social media person and I'd have to come in. I said that a different social media guy had just told me to call. She put the phone down without putting me on hold and after a while, we just hung up.
As soon as we hung up, Sam messaged me again telling me that they have a policy of not quoting prices if you're not in the store. I said that it was a ridiculous policy to make it so difficult to actually spend money with them and expressing frustrating that he wasted my time in telling me to contact the store if he knew they weren't going to tell me anything. He sent back a snarky response about how sales were up 23% so it must be working.
Against my better judgment, I visited the store after my phone call. The store is 3 miles from my house so it was a quick trip down there. Upon arrival, I was met by a third woman. I said I was looking for a specific fireplace that I had seen on Marketplace. I made sure she wasn't Amber, expressing that I didn't appreciate being hung up on. Amber was near by and piped up that she didn't hang up on us, she said she put us on hold. We replied that she did not, she just put the phone down and never communicated again. She said it was only her second day (another thing I don't believe) and she didn't know if she was allowed to tell us prices.
Out comes Sam, "the 'just the social media guy'" who "doesn't actually work with the merchandise," who proceeds to tell me that the fireplace I came in for JUST sold between my facebook message, my phone call, and my arrival. Reader, I was literally the only customer there. The chances that someone else walked in 10 minutes before and bought that EXACT fireplace are exactly zero.
He takes me in the back to show me a broken one. He did plug it in for me as we have particular medical needs we need to consider with this purchase, but that is literally the only correct thing that happened in my experience and I did appreciate it. The one they had was broken but I could see that the crate was labeled $999 and had a strike through and was labeled $399. I would have considered buying the broken one because it could have operated without the glass. I asked how much one was and he said $1250 and I could guarantee one on the next shipment would be mine by putting $100 down. On the way out, he offered to "knock down" the price to $1150 for all my hassle.
I'm gobsmacked that literally every single word out of his mouth was a lie, and that he thinks I believed any of it. It was a lie that he doesn't work with the merchandise and he's "just" the social media guy, when it was evident that he's actually the manager (confirmed by other reviews here). It was a lie that the product I wanted to buy was there and available. The price he quoted me was a lie. The fact that someone else "just" bought it was undoubtedly a lie.
Seriously, these guys are shady shysters. Stay away. It's a shame too because they're in a nice big space with a big selection, which is a nice alternative to going out to AFW. But seriously, I feel like I need to shower after talking to...
Read moreIf you go into this store make sure you know what you want and if you are still thinking about it or are unsure, do yourself a favor and don't let them talk you back in. Worse than dealing with car salesmen. Make sure to read and understand all of financing if you go with it. Absolutely my fault for not reading and understanding throughly, but putting this out here so you know. You can pay it off before to avoid the 50% financing but there is also a $250 pay off fee. When I had asked about extra charges was told it was "just tax" and it would just be the cost of the couch and tax. Also read their invoice fine print. They cover their mistakes and make sure they make money off of you if for some miraculous reason they let you cancel. Total Experience was horrible. I called the next day after purchase to request dimensions, they took my info and said they would call back. Called back a week later since still no return call, same situation. Third week I called not only for dimensions but to see status because I was told 1 to 2 weeks, I requested not to leave my name and phone number, I was the told fabric was back ordered and it would be next week. Week 4 rolls around, no call. I then call mid week and I'm told it should be here that weekend. Week 5, I get the call to schedule delivery. That evening I get a call asking what color and what pieces I purchased. I asked if something was wrong and was told no, everything was fine and they were just checking. Odd? Not all. Delivery time, I get a call saying they'll be there in 25 to 30 mins. They must have not checked Google maps first because it was an hour and 10 mins later when they got there. They were good though quick to get in and out and take all trash with them, but I get 2 of the 3 pieces stating that the third piece will be to me the next week. Week 6 I get third piece with no feet and I ask about a round pillow that is supposed to come with the couch they said they'd ask and get back to me. When initially trying to put the third piece in one of them couldn't get the pieces we had to unhook and instead of asking or looking in between he just yanks harder which in turn pulls the screws part way out of the wood. Even rescrewing they're now loose because they were yanked out. Week 7 I get a call mid morning saying they have 3 stops and then me. 8 hours later I get the feet no pillow. I'm over it. The couch is great. The initial service to help was OK. Purchased 12/2, received complete couch 1/19. Overall, go somewhere else. There are other stores in the valley that sell the couch or just be prepared for the overall service and little care after they've made their sale. IMPORTANT! If you fill out financing paperwork with them, make sure they file it away in front of you. While I was there, there were at least 3 applications I could have snapped pictures of with a lot of information included SSN. When I told my sales lady about it she then quickly shoved them under the mat on the table but that could have been seen by at least two other customers that were...
