The Giant Eagle in Chardon is a nice grocery store. They have a good selection of food, a nice deli, fresh produce, and I like the fuel discount program. Most of the employees are great (although there are a couple cashiers that are extremely slow).
However, there is one thing about this store that drives me out of my mind. Every year or two, they move almost everything in the store around. I am convinced that the only reason that this is being done is to make customers look at every shelf item to find what they are looking for, and then hopefully customers will spend more money. I find this incredibly frustrating. I enjoy knowing where items are located so I can find what I need and go home. They just recently moved everything around yet again....grrrrr!!! What possible reason is there to move the cat food 2 aisles over. Why would the pretzels need to suddenly be directly across the aisle from where they were a week or two ago???? Is there some secret reason why the yogurt suddenly needed to be moved 20 or 30 feet away from where it used to be?? The last 2 times I shopped here, I wound up spending less money because I couldn't find some of my normal items and refuse to waste my time hunting things down. I think I may give Heinen's grocery...

There was an elderly woman having a hard time separating the carts about 2hrs ago while a heavy set gentlemen w/yellow vest stood there and watched her struggling. I seen that my daughter was having a problem also. I took it upon myself to help the elderly woman, then went over to help my daughter. She told the man that how can you stand there and watch people struggle with those cars and not offer to help. Just stood there smiling. People like that shouldn't have a job in dealing with the front of the store. If they aren't willing to help customers. The elderly lady just turned, looked at the guy and shook her head in disbelief. Please talk to your cart handlers as well as...
