I have mixed emotions about Aaron's. We've tried to rent things on a few prior occasions without much success. Either staff, including management, was extremely rude or there was a month's wait to get anything from being told that they had nothing in stock when there was a floor full of merchandise. We needed a bed desperately and so we decided to give it another chance. I did not want to deal with the staff so I tried to place my order online, which was unsuccessful. Subsequently, I was forced to call the store. However, when I did, I spoke with an associate by the name of Jennifer who was eager to assist and provided great customer service. She advised that I needed to come into the store which I reluctantly did. But as nice and helpful as Jennifer was, the other employees were just the opposite. In fact, we arrived with over an hour before they closed and instead of being efficient at their position, the other girl proceeded to waste over an hour of our time and told us about 10 minutes before closing that they would have to finish it tomorrow. Read moreI’d give 0 stars if I could. We moved from Charleston to GA called before we left to schedule to have 2 things picked up. Set up a time and have a point of contact who would let them pick it up. I was told by the associate to put the items outside and they’d get it. My first thought. Absolutely not it will be stolen before nightfall. Here we are 3 weeks later calling and hounding the store to get them to pick it up. The associate who answered was rude and disrespectful from the start. When he was told it has to be picked up by Friday as we have to turn our keys over he advised that sounded like a threat. I explained no it’s a promise as we’ve made arrangements to return our keys and have to honor that. He stated there is no reason to be going round and round.

Read moreHad a tv stand that was falling apart. I also had a lighted headboard that the wires caught on fire. They replaced the wiring but also picked up the tv stand for repair, over a week later, I got a call saying the stand was not able to be repaired and even though it was paid off (over $400 later) they would allow me to “lease another one”. Very upsetting as I have been a long standing customer and my monthly payments are more than my car payments.
