Website states they close at ten pm arrived at nine pm and no outside lights were on, open sign on door was off and as I parked the inside lights were turned off I drove off thinking they were closed tried calling and no answer but could see two men standing inside went down the street to turn around and as I drove past again I saw a car and stopped again went to the door and it was open. It’s now 9:15 I went inside started to place my order was told I could only order from the cold menu because the grill was off and no fries because the fryers were off I still placed an order and two of the three sandwiches were wrong barely any meat and one piece of bacon on the Turkey bacon and ranch. One other customer came in was told the same as I and he left then another came in wanting a steak and like myself had to order a cold sandwich and no fries. This isn’t my first experience at going there at nine pm and all the lights off as if they’re closed. This is a wonderful place to eat but this was ridiculous after a long day setting at the hospital with a sick loved one who just wanted a hot sandwich and this is the only restaurant that offers that till 10 pm....

To save on my special visits, I always try to clip the coupons in the newspaper and save on dining for two people at less than 14 bucks! That includes sandwiches, drinks, and fries! I was a Steak Escaper, but I quickly converted when Penn Station opened the first one in our area- Kanawha City. It has grown so much, and I know of 4 locations that are in close enough proximity to make the drive if had...
Read moreI came in about a week ago and was able to get a ham and provolone sandwich but when I came in today I was told that I couldn't have one, I was told I could have turkey and swiss and philly cheese but no ham and provlone. I told the cashier i had it there last week and he told me they could not make one. As I left, I approached Chris and he offered to make me a free sandwich and he remembered making me one last week. I figured it was pointless. If your staff doesn't know what is on the menu and are willing to turn customers away because they don't want to make special requests or don't know the menu, customers like me wiil take our business elsewhere. Remember penn station if you don't take care of the customer someone else will. I will never set foot in that place again. That incompetent young man cost his employer some business. Avoid this place...
