Pepperoni Grill — Restaurant in Charleston

Extremely disappointing. I heard so many good things about it, i was looking Forward to it. Ealking in, it looked far more like a take-out only place, then was told there was seating upstairs. We gad to order down stairs and theyd bring it up to us. When we got upstairs, it was a very cramped, small room. It was not very clean or comfortable. It reminded of an employee's lunchroom of a cheap store! The young man that brought us our food was very nice. I had ordered a Greek salad, for $8. For that price i expected more than the small plastic box i received. The salad dressing was oil, with a tiny bit of spices and maybe a drop of vinegar. I did get a nice big chunk of a lettuce stem... yikes!! The cajian chicken pasta was extremely watery, with little flavor. The chicken was not freshly grillrd, but more like precooked frozen chicken, with the fake grill marks, no flavor and soggy! My husband had the sausage pizza, and it was ok, but the sauce tasted like it was straight from a can, with nothing special added. I hardly ate anything, so i left hungry. We will not...

Worst experience I've had with a simple pick-up order. Ordered a BBQ pizza and some other items worth $67 on 2/24/24 at around noon on this company's website. Was called from this restaurant about 10 minutes later and was told that they didn't have the BBQ until late afternoon. We said that was fine and canceled the order to get food somewhere else. Several hours later I looked and saw the $67 charge on my card. I contacted the restaurant to ask about when I could expect my money to be refunded. I was told that they can't cancel an order and if I wanted my money refunded, (for food that was never made), I would have to contact DoorDash. I explained that this was a pick up order and was told that all online orders are through DoorDash and the restaurant doesn't have the ability to cancel an order placed through their own website. I spoke with the owner and she plainly didn't care enough to resolve a $67 order that they couldn't fulfill. I will never again patronize Pepperoni Grill and recommend that you don't either. Poor management...

Tied for Best Pepperoni Rolls in WV so far!! (The other one being ‘Mid Atlantic Market’ in Morgantown) I just can’t decide which one is better but both are #1 and I’ve tried lots of them in the state. However please ask them to heat them up! It makes a world of difference. They have them by the cash register in room temperature and I’m thankful the cashier asked me if I wanted to heat them up when I was buying them, I said yes and also bought a pair of the room temperature ones and OMG is a huge difference!! The ones that were heated up tasted perfect. Great warm temperature so not too hot which means you can start eating them up right away, the texture of the bread was also on point, love that they also add what look like garlic on top, perfect amount of cheese to pepperoni ratio inside, just the right size not too big not too small, just so good you can’t really get better than that.
