Experience was awful. I booked my haircut appointment for 3:30 on November 15, came in 15 minutes early only to be told to WAIT FOR AN HOUR and offered me water. No apologies or explanation. But what clearly happened is they took someone in before me. Youād think they would call the person who has a reservation first to confirm if theyāre coming before they take someone in but they didnāt. Very unprofessional on their part and such a shame they bring to the company name Ulta. Whatās the point of making the appointment if youāre not gonna commit to it. Isnāt that what appointments are for? Itās so incompetent of them. Imagine if I was a mom who had to pay for a babysitter so I can come to my appointment just to be told to wait another hour? But I am a mom and luckily I didnāt have to pay for a babysitter and drive 45 mins away just to set and wait for another hour when Iām 15 minutes away from my actual appointment. Long line. So embarrassing! Then today (2 weeks later) I get my card in the mail. REALLY! I called get get the credit of $140 added to my account, gave my receipt info. They pulled it up but NO. Sorry. I canāt give you the credit. Only a coupon for 25% off a future purchase. They totally cheated me out of $140. And then they want me to spend more money there. Booking online is easy if you know what you need to book. I booked with a cosmetologist and she was sick, another cosmetologist was able to pick up my appointment. I got really lucky! I almost donāt want to share her name because I fear others will end up taking all her openings. BUT credit is due- Kristan does an amazing job giving me the lighter/blond that I want. She is able to hide my grey, and blend the natural hair color. Last appointment, Kristan was able to give me butterfly layers that worked for my side part.
Me not knowing much at all about the world of hair and cosmetology- she has helped figure out what I want or look for with good questions that help me communicate what Iām after. The last picture shows how dark and long my roots were before...
