Sugar Pie Bakery — Restaurant in South Charleston

Ordered a $70 cake for my daughter's college graduation. It was supposed to be white, it was off white. It was supposed to have a black grad cap with white tassel, it was grey with off white tassel. It was supposed to say "Congratulations Madison", it said "Congrats Madison" in huge letters that looked like a kindergarten kid wrote it. It was supposed to have rosettes, it looked like smashed roses. My husband picked it up. I called the next day and they had me bring it back in. The food was fantastic, they prepared a cake for us. They worked with us to design and prepare it exactly as we wanted. The design was elegant and the taste was fantastic. We decorated it with their very tasty macaroons (to flavors coffee and pistacio), The cake flavor was perfect and flavorful, (strawberry and champagne). We had a large party for my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary and Sugar Pie was able to help us do a recreation of my parent's wedding cake. They did a 3 tier wedding cake with Almond Cake and Vanilla Buttercream. It was seriously out of this world...took me back to the old school wedding cake that we used to be used too. Everyone at the party was going on an on about it and having more than one piece...wish we just would have gotten it a little bit bigger due to the double dipping on cake.
