Dollar Tree — Local services in Charlotte

My first visit was delightful. Im in a wheelchair and needed help reaching and there was a young man who was sweeping up to earn extra funds. He was courteous and kind. One of the workers told me that he comes sometimes in the afternoon to see if he could help. This is what i call old fashioned, “it takes a village”, good values. Training up a child in the way that he should go. We dont know what someine is going through at home, but when a child us willing to work we should grab on and never let go. I was so proud of him and the worker! He was gone by the time i checked out, but i left 10.00 dollars for him and told her i would return to check in him, the worker told me he was so happy and spent most of it on school supplies and a few things for his mom. Closest Dollar Tree to my job. Never have had any issues here. It's located off Trade St. Location does look worn down and not up to date and looks a bit shady outside. Inside though, all employees are super nice and friendly the moment you walk inside. They have a huge selection of items and have the Dollar Plus section as well. Most of their Valentines selections were a bit picked out and almost empty, but I was still lucky enough to find all that I needed and a few cute items. The store was a bit unorganized and stuff thrown in the aisles, but other than that, everything was fairly easy to find. They have a balloon center that already have inflated balloons as well as helium if you need other balloons than the ones that are ready to go. Overall, it's a good spot if you're on the go. I called this store about some mugs. I got confused about the size I wanted. I thought I wanted 16 ounce mugs. I really wanted 20 ounce mugs. I asked Shareka to hold the mugs for me. When I got there, she had boxed them up for me. I really appreciated that. When I discovered they were the wrong size, I then noticed what a big selection of other glasses and mugs they had. That store has a bigger selection than other stores. I apologized to Shareka for having her hold the 16 ounce mugs. She was so nice. I ended up getting a lot of other glasses and mugs. The cashier Jamie D was super sweet and went out of her way to box up my merchandise. The level of good customer service I received was outstanding.
