New customer (only had an account since closing on my home a couple months ago), but I had to drop a commendation and a few nice words about the agent, Johnny Williamson, who helped me out. We were less than a week out from close and the homeowners policy with a different company was going through final checks. My lender had checked in to make sure I'd be able to upload the homeowners policy by the end of the week. Just a couple emails earlier, I was informed that the homeowners policy had fallen through and the previous company wasn't able to work anything else out. They kindly referred me to Johnny over at State Farm. I was pretty stressed out and not looking forward to getting the quote back since, at this point, it would have to do as I had no time to look into alternatives. To my surprise, in the end, it came out cheaper than my previous policy. Not only that, but Johnny was super friendly and easy to talk to. He didn't try to upsell me in any area (as I was expecting from a prominent insurance company) but simply gave helpful, informative answers to my questions in addition to his own personal opinions and reasons for decisions he's made with his own policy. It felt like I was discussing options with well-informed co-worker at lunch rather than an insurance agent. Heather went over the importance of the liability and coverage's that are offered or available to best fit our needs. Her recommendations were even better for us. Allstate had never reviewed over our coverage's with us, explained to us what we really had. Heather was able to break it all down and explain what each coverage meant exactly. Better yet, she was also able to triple our coverage's and provide more coverage into our auto insurance for less than what we had been paying to a company we had been dedicated to for so long. If I have to say my experience in one word, I say, he is about the best professional as an insurance agent, extremely knowledgeable, understands the needs of his clients and make the very best recommendations, most honest in his suggestions and when his clients need him in an emergency or otherwise, he is about the best friend to have. When the clients need him, he does not believe in 8 to 5 office hours. State Farm is so well represented by individuals like Gary.
