Sleep Number — Hotel in Charlottesville

In the Fall of 2024, my husband and I visited the Charlottesville, Va. Sleep Number store front. We meet Joshua, a delightful young man. This was our first visit to a Sleep Number store. Joshua assisted us in learning about and trying out numerous mattresses. He sold us! However, we were in the stages of building a new home that will not be completed until June of this year, 2025. We made Joshua a promise, we will come back in April and make a final decision and purchase. AND, Joshua made a promise to us, he would keep us on his radar and be in touch. In April, my husband and I received a phone call directly from Joshua. We had planned to go in and Joshua’s EXCELLENT follow through, product knowledge and communication confirmed our intent. We purchased a P6 mattress, 2 sets of sheets, 2 mattress pads and 2 pillows. Joshua wears the Sleep Number name well and deserves a leadership position in your company! I and/or my husband would hire him because of his leadership skills and pure focus on...

I cannot support sleep number. I bought a queen bed and in the unpacking process the “technicians” created a small slit in the headboard fabric from their knife cutter. I tried to get this taken care of and got the “run around” even though I was in the hospital 11 weeks when bed delivered. My neighbor was here for the delivery and reported the damage and took a picture. She told me of damage.

When I was discharged I was referred to Customer Support. Three (3) of them hung up on me because I found them difficult to understand.

I told lady who I bought bed from and she said she would take care of. Weeks passed. I called her again. Finally technicians came took picture and said it would be taken care of. More weeks passed. Finally I was forwarded to Case Resolution and person there wanted to know why I hadn’t reported it earlier. He used this as excuse to deny my claim for repair.

His attitude was very negative!! No resolution, except it was my problem.

Bottom line! POOR...

I stopped by the Sleep Number store in Charlottesville on Saturday and bought a new mattress and base. This is my third Sleep Number bed in the past 20 years and the first two were great. The staff at the store were very friendly and knowledgeable and there were no pressure tactics or gimmicks to try to get me to buy anything I didn't need or want. Check out the Sleep Number mattresses, they may cost a bit more than others but they're well worth it in my opinion considering how long most people own...
