When the price is printed out for you and you pay towards that price it should never be aloud to be changed up on you ! Period ! I was called yesterday and it’s only bc of the review I left and spoke to dr . Purewal directly but I realized that she really wants me to be afraid of having something I clearly do not and refused to discuss the 2500 price increase , the best way to find out if thyroid has issues is blood work and I did just that , in fact I had 3 tests done and that’s all she said I’ll need . Then her manager Maria who by the way is extremely unprofessional and rude, talks in the valley girl fake voice called me last Friday and was like oh so you took the 3rd blood work that’s great to hear by the way the surgery is going to be an extra 2500 from the price we already gave u that’s already close to 10k!!!! For under eye fat laser removal they were trying to steal an extra 2500 with refusal to explain the price change the significant price change at that after I payed 350 towards the price that I was given. Refusing to explain and telling me 2500 extra for the surgery that will directly go to dr . Purewal looks like an issue for consumer affairs for price gouging and praying on women’s insecurities instead of developing a relationships with clients and helping them get their confidence back . It’s been so long I needed this that I can’t let this be . I feel even more confused and now actually terrified bc dr Purewal is trying to tell me I might have a problem that clearly I do not have .just know that the price will go up as soon as it’s time for scheduling. Also know that other professionals in this field no longer recommend Dr. Purewal. This is not Ethical this is someone who took an oath without actually believing in it. I know I don’t have no thyroid issue and I was in extreme depression mood yesterday after dr Purewal finally decided to call only bc of a review I left to put fear in my mind that I might have an issue . I will go get another opinion no problem. At this very point I will not let her touch my face anyways for the simple fact is if you trying to steal 2500 dollars bc you feel like you can do that I can’t trust you with my face . Seems like irs should be checking into it and definitely consumer affairs complaint worthy which I’m going to do as well . I’m done here with the nonsense. She now tells me I need to do extra hoop jumps which she never mentioned at the time of her apt only that I need the thyroid blood work. Surgery for under eye fat removal is going to cost who ever over 12k now but remember she will give you a diff price at first see how bad you want it jump around a bit run around a bit get a bunch of poking blood work done and then they will call and say hiiiiiii btw the surgery now went up 2500 in less then 2 months after we have given you the set price and told you 350 you payed goes towards that . Illegal !!! Not ethical ! Not trust worthy ! And in reality right her seeing my results being normal completely in range of every thing right ? I wonder her making me super terrified thinking I need more tests is grounds for something bigger? I really do have to wonder … I’m not paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars to check for a problem that’s been checked the best way and that’s through blood work. Now I have to figure out what I myself will do for myself and hope that I get my confidence back 🙏🏼 dr Purewal was like no don’t go to your own dr for these additional tests , I’ll send you 2 great drs I know she says ! That’s bc they are making each other money by telling people unnecessary tests needs to be done. And not go to their own drs that take our insurance!!!!she’s a fraud and is somehow faking these reviews bc she got my review...

Had an absolutely amazing experience with Dr Purewal & Monica at Fresh Face & Eye. From the moment I arrived for my consultation, I was welcomed and made to feel safe in their hands. The clinic is modern, decor is fabulous, it’s clean and they screen each visitor & sanitise the rooms between each appointment. I was encouraged to contact Monica at any time with any concerns or questions. This all adds to the comfort, safety and peace of mind.

My consultation was extremely thorough. Plenty of time was spent finding out exactly what I wanted to achieve with my procedure, I never felt “sold to” and Dr Purewal listened to my concerns, and with along with physical exam of my face she made sure that I had realistic expectations and aimed to get the best results with the least invasive method. Dr Purewal recommended transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty, which would remove my under eye bags without any exterior incisions. This afforded me a very speedy recovery, without the worry of stitches or scarring. I felt total confidence in Dr Purewal, as I wanted a Doctor who specialised in face & eye surgery, who had worked on dark skin. She absolutely knows what she’s doing. Pricing was totally transparent and they offered different ways to pay.

The facility chosen for the procedure was also impressive. Clean, modern and not too busy. Nurses were friendly & attentive, and I was put at ease. My husband was allowed to sit with me before and after the procedure, and he was kept updated at every stage. Recovery was surprisingly easy. I had minor swelling and sent photos to the clinic daily for the first week to be monitored. I appreciated this as I never felt alone post op, and had all concerns addressed daily.

It’s now a month post op, swelling is just about gone and I’m already enjoying my new found confidence. There isn’t a price for confidence or happiness, but this was truly worth every cent. I’ve had an amazing experience and will never stop singing the praises of Dr Purewal, Monica, Heather and the Fresh Face...
