Thankfully, I found a lifeline through the Apple Support app, which allowed me to secure an appointment with Ricciardi Business Systems for the following day.
Initially, I was hesitant. My go-to for tech troubles had always been the Apple Store or Geek Squad at Best Buy. However, both were fully booked until Monday. Seeing Ricciardi with an available slot for the next day, I decided to take a chance.

He listened patiently to the problem, and after a brief diagnostic gave us an action plan. Knowing we were from out of town and pressured to get things fixed, he even chased us down in the parking lot to give us a revised update when he saw an additional issue. And he told us he would do his best to have the work done by the end of the day.
