Treasures Galore — Local services in Cherry Valley Township

I decided to leave a review after shopping here for years.i normally only leave reviews if I've had a great experience or a bad one. I've been coming here since the old location and have never been greated when I walked through the door, ever. It's always seem like your interrupting the conversation of the employees. Today I went to sell my clothes for the very first time, I brought 1 basket and 2 bags. They said they do not take bags because the clothes may be wrinkly, okay well I called the day before asking what hours they take clothes and no one ever mentioned anything like that, clearly i was a new "seller" on the phone. So waisted my time just for me to give them a basket full of miss me jeans and nice clothes, not one rip or stain. I showed up around 3:30 and it just simply seemed like they didn't want to put in the time or effort to go through the clothes at all. When they were done going through my basket they went from folded nice to thrown in the basket looking a MESS and they said 'sorry didn't find anything today' honestly a shame, they wouldnt look at my FOLDED CLOTHES but made a disaster mess for me to have to clean up. I drove all the way across town they should've been much more informative on the phone. They have no motivation at all and you can tell from the moment you walk in. Typicaly I would give 5 stars I love Treasures Galore! Today I came to the smoke shop next door, I looked into the window and saw a clock I absolutely loved. Looking at the time I saw they closed in only 10 minutes. So I wanted to ask how much it was and if they would hold it until the morning. I was parked outside the drop off door and walked up to the door. I then saw drop off closes at 5:30 and the employee inside pointed me to the other door (main entrance) I said in ASL (American Sign Language) thank you and hurried to the front door. Mind you it is still 5 minutes to close. I understand closing up takes time, I've worked customer service and wanted to be done and out on time, all I wanted was to ask a question. This older employee was very rude, her body language was very demeaning. Again resorting to ASL I said I only have a question. Rudley she didnt even come to the door and use a proper customer service attitude. I was very set back, and appalled. Never have I had a bad experience at Treasures Galore. Usually the employees are on point with customer satisfaction. They are friendly, nice, and very helpful. Went in the other day to try and see if I could sell some items the owner was awful. Instead of pulling me to the side she blurted out in front of the employees and whoever was standing in the area at that time and said my items smelled like smoke which was a complete lie. I had just sold a few of my items before I showed up there. I drove and wasted gas instead of her telling me over the phone she didn't take any of my items she called and told me it was processed. Such a bad experience I really don't believe her or the staff even properly went through my items. I will never buy anything from the store again or even mention it to the other people. The boss or owner whoever she was a snob. I was so turned off by the experience I just left the store and won't be returning back! I was just trying to sell some items and possibly help someone else.
