What can I say about Beef A Roo that hasn't already been said? I don't even live in Rockford anymore yet this is the place that draws me back. The best fast food burger money can buy, a sneaky dark horse to compete with the legendary In and Out Burger and Whataburger chains, with a classic burger, milkshake and fries experience. The patties always exceed the buns, the bacon is crisp and crunchy, and their onion rings are on par with the best I've ever had. The menu is also phenomenal; lots of options, vegetarian, gluten free, amazing salads. They have a couple different locations all styled out in different decor; 50s style, a hunting lodge, etc. The staff has always been friendly. What I saw was a BeefARoo right there not even 15 miles from my home!! I try to convince everyone I talk to that BeefARoo has the most awesome roast beef sandwiches! Rachel, the manager, is doing a fantabulous job getting her crew trained and to understand the BeefARoo atmosphere and make their store just like the ones in Rockford! Not an easy feat due to the fact they don’t know what they are supposed to be doing- but they are getting it!!...

The malts are also excellent.
The burgers are ok. Better than a lot of fast food, but not...
