Subway — Restaurant in Cherry Valley Township

June 2023 See my review below from 8 months ago, place has grown into it's location a bit. Drive thru is open, bathroom problem has been corrected. I often come here and they are often pretty busy. This is the only place I've ever seen the Subway mascot. Pretty good for a subway.

Nov. 2022: Visited for lunch, ate in. Bit of a wait in line but not too bad for the lunch rush they had at the time. The sandwich was great with well sized portions of ingredients for me. They had both a line and online order pick-ups at the same time. I overheard that a couple customers had their orders' sandwiches swapped by accident, both were able to have their correct sandwiches made without any issue. Bathroom was a one person, roomy with toilet and urinal - adequately clean, paper towels were out as of my visit.

They just moved into this building, probably moving in from the Subway that was previously across the street. There's definitely some work still to be done- I'd expect to see signs on the building itself for instance. The urinal in the bathroom also seemed to be partially broken away from the wall. Place is a work in progress but definitely complete enough to be functional.

I appreciate the location as I love to grab a sandwich here on the way home south of Alpine, will be back. I'd rate 4.5/5 if possible.

06/10/2019 at 11:28 Am: My family and I stopped to get gas and eat at the same time at the gas station next to the Subway. I chose this location just because of the Subway and Gas Station. We were driving from Milwaukee to different state, so after 3 hours of driving, the first thing that we wanted to do is "going to the restroom" before eat. I am sure that everyone of us would do the same. My family of 6 went to the restroom while I was waiting by the door, The manager of Subway came to me and asked "yall gonna order here or no". I said that was the plan and thats why we were here. She kept making sure couple times and gave us the look for "poor people" I told my family that we are not gonna eat here, go to the car and wait for me. I went to tell her that we were planning to eat but not anymore, but please show me the sign that stated that "restroom is for only subway customers" and she said there is no sign. I did asked her name but she refused to give me her name. I did purchase a drink just to keep the proof of the location, the time...

I was very frustrated by this Subway. Took my son there for lunch. They charge a $1 per small cup of water. I asked them why and they said to pay for the cup. So $2 dollars for two small water cups (clear plastic cup not the Subway small drink cup). First Subway I have visited that did that. So we skipped the water.

In addition, I always get the 12 inch Tuna (my favorite sandwich). The server went out of his way to make sure I got as little tuna as possible. I have never seen the tap and scrap method he used to make sure I got as little tuna as possible. The only thing I can think of is he was running low on tuna and decided to conserve it. The sandwich really tasted like a vegie sandwich put way above the vegie price. Felt ripped off and is the first time I didn't leave a tip at the end. Very frustrated.
