Dealing with this office a couple years ago was ridiculously bad. My production recruiter Petty Officer First Class B. Ford was hardly ever helpful, barely returned phone calls or texts about required paperwork, gave me offended attitude if he felt I asked too many questions, and honestly did not care if he recruited me or not. Then after all is said and done, he completely sabotaged my changes of joining the CG afterwards because because he put in a word that I was "not acting professional and not following directions" through his COC after I asked to speak with his supervisor despite me doing everything requested. As another mentioned, the recruiter is who we depend on to give us valuable information and guide us through the recruitment process. It is unfortunate that didn't happen for me, so I joined another branch with better success, but I am happy the experience went better with others after my recruiter already left. I gave one star ONLY because I couldn't post a comment if I didn't and didn't want that...
Read moreRead really good reviews about recruiters at this location, and was super excited to enlist and get the process started. Unfortunately my experience was disappointing, I came ready with questions and eager to get information, but felt like my recruiter was not very interested in giving much. I needed to get a waiver for asthma and had to schedule PFT but my recruiter did not follow up at all. I reached out to a few weeks later to give an update, but felt like they had no interest in recruiting me. I passed the PFT and ended up meeting with an Army recruiter and my experience has been the complete opposite and better than I could have hoped for and am farther in my enlistment journey in less than 2 weeks than I was in a month with the CG. I’m sad I didn’t get to experience what some reviews mentioned. Would have loved to join the CG, unfortunately there was...
Read moreI had the pleasure of working with Stephanie throughout my whole recruiting process. I had a rough start with joining the military as I was working with the USAF at first and those recruiters left a bad taste in my mouth. They were very lazy, unreliable, and unconcerned with me. I heard all the nightmares about recruiters being terrible people. That is until I met this wonderful woman— Stephanie. She actually listened to me speak about my journey and she made it her business to actually help me. I have never seen a recruiter who cares about their applicants like she does. She was truly my advocate, got all my paperwork done, and she is so kind. Having someone like her guide me while I transition into a new chapter of life has really given me the confidence I need to be successful in the USCG. I’m truly thankful for her and the opportunity that she...
