I recently lost the stone in my engagement ring after over 20 years and I was pretty bummed about the loss. I struggled with if I wanted to replace it and if so, what would my replacement ring be at this point in life. My previous stone was a modest round solitaire about 2 carats, so I was thinking something similar would work. I tried a few rings on virtually, but that just wasn’t working for me, as I needed to see it in person. I also knew I wanted to support a local jeweler instead of a retail chain. I stumbled upon Adele diamonds on a Saturday afternoon pretty close to their closing time. I walked in and immediately felt welcomed. I think I was greeted by everyone in the store and Marcus was the person who ended up helping me try on some rings and get an idea of what I wanted. I’m an old bride of over 20 plus years so I’m pretty confident in what I wanted. Marcus was able to help me drill down to what I wanted, a pear between 3-4 carats, didn’t want anything too fancy. Well, Marcus brings in a couple of stones for my husband and I to see and once I saw the 4 carat, I decided maybe a 5 carat would be ideal. Marcus got straight to work to find me the PERFECT high quality diamond. He sent specs along with videos and photos when I still wanted something different, Marcus got to it. I wanted my diamond to be short and plump with a certain l/w ratio and Marcus once again found the PERFECT diamond!! This guy is a consummate professional, very knowledgeable, customer driven, and determined to exceed your expectations. He REALLY listens to your needs and works tirelessly to procure a diamond that is far better than you imagined ALL at reasonable prices considering the exquisite quality! Read moreI have spent thousands of dollars at this store and up until this week I’ve been happy with my jewelry and experiences. That said, the last experience I had here, I wanted to combine two rings I own into one for a custom setting. Asked for a rendering of the custom jewelry I wanted and a valuation of the existing settings I had to potentially sell them back. I was told 2-3 business days to get these things done. I called 5 days later, was told the next day my things would be done. Since then I called TWO more times speaking with the manager directly, he apologized and promised id have something the next day. Called again and he said the same thing.
