Four Paws Annex — Local services in Chester

The store truly is very cute - lots of great products and there was clearly a lot of thought that went into it.

Today was our first visit when we parked in Chester and we were so excited to go in. About 2 minutes into our visit, our 20 lb pup got spooked by a little dog statue and knocked a display of leashes about 10 inches out of place. We apologized profusely a couple of times, but were met with either no acknowledgement or complete lack of understanding for a small, spooked dog. My partner and I were both in slight disbelief that a store for dogs could be so unkind to a pup, that we promptly left.

Animal lovers are just that, animal lovers. The employee working on Sunday, June 1 can’t truly be an animal lover if she can’t even acknowledge our apology multiple times and leave us to feel unwelcome in a store we would have been more than happy to make a purchase. The owner or person working that day needs to think about their role in making customers and their beloved pups feel welcomed. We were truly so disappointed...
