Midnight Owl — Local services in Chester

April 2017: Now Chester is changing. This store is still on the main street. A couple of stores have closed in the past two years. This place has trillions of trinkets to be had. Unique gifts and clothing. Decorative flags and spinners. One of the staples of Chester shopping. Decent prices too. There are many other stores in this part of Chester. This seems to be the only one listed. Many of the stores in the "back" of Chester are gone. They have become restaurants, art store or hair/nail salons. One big problem this part of town has is sewer capacity. Places that had bathrooms are now only for employees. Two areas (by the parking lots) have porta-potties, not nice in certain...

We had a very sad experience in this place. The owner, Annie was sitting outside on a chair told me my 3 years old son is not allowed in the store, I thought she is joking and we went in. In the store she started following us and told me I don't know if your kid put anything in his bag, check the bag. I was shocked. Took his toy bag and showed her inside the small bag that he had a little toy in it. What a shame! I am speechless. Unless u r white, u r not welcome in this store. I was in the area for something else entirely and stumbled across this shop and I'm so very glad I did. They have so many wonderful things ranging from jewelry to soap to incense to clothes to figurines to rocks and so much more. I got mini glass octopus and mushroom figures and I can't wait to put them around my plants and gift them to my friends. Everything was priced very reasonably too. The shop has such a magical feel to it and the owners are so sweet. It's almost an hour away from me, but I'll definitely...
