My ONLY disappointment was that I HADN'T followed the signs to this wonderful farm - EARLIER!! I went yesterday morning - simply looking for a FRESH, ORGANIC, GARDEN - GROWN tomato for sandwiches for lunch later on that day. I found so much more!! I was hesitant to go in, because I was there before their opening hours, but the owner - Kip- was so welcoming and gracious! He stopped his morning chores, told me about his family farm, and showed me all of the products he makes available for those of us who are concerned about chemicals, quality, and accountability in the production of real food! I called my partner, who drove there to check out what I was so excited about, and they found out they were related by generations of other farmers from other regions of Indiana ! We resolved to buy our seasonal produce, chemical free meats and honey from Dublin Farm, for healthy choice reasons, in addition to buying local to support our local hardworking farmers! I came there for one tomato, left with 4, a large bag of fresh morning picked sweet corn, 3 different types of brats, pork sausage. Then I changed the lunch menu for that day, and we enjoyed a beautiful meal! We' ll be back for that beef and some steaks Kip! We wish your family many more decades of healthy farming for us humans and the animals that...
Read moreNip is one of the coolest, nicest and most intentionally helpful people I’ve met locally in Anderson so far. His partner Donna (I think? Bless her!) is so gentle, helpful and sweet as well. We love their dogs Carmen and Hera and always feel welcome when we go by.
Their produce is top notch. The watermelon and peaches we bought yesterday are hands down the best watermelon and peaches we have ever eaten. My son is obsessed, really, I can’t get him to stop begging for more watermelon. Send help.
The compost they sold me this year has supported the most gorgeous growth, and is so well aged that I was able to transplant my tomatoes straight into it with no burning.
I personally find that his lack of minimum delivery volume on compost and garden soil alone puts him above his competitors because it’s inclusive to smaller gardeners. In combination with the exquisite quality of his product, as long as I’m local, I’ll source whatever I can from Nip and Donna at Dublin Farm. See...
Read moreSo thankful to have a local farm working so hard to follow organic standards to offer quality meat from pastured well-cared for animals as well as other great produce and eggs. Nip has even been experimenting with regenerative agriculture to keep stewarding the land as best as possible! He enjoys and takes care of people and supports community as an avid supporter of the Outdoor Learning Lab of Daleville Community Schools - donating compost and mulch to students' gardens and orchard! Our girls also love seeing the animals...
