Los Molcajetes el patiecito — Restaurant in Indianapolis

This place is awful. Went to this place around 130pm, its dark inside, only 1 waitress and 1 cook. It takes 10 minutes for her to make it up front to get a table. She says there is only 1 cook and unless we get the buffet the food will take a long time. Tried to ask how long and she had no idea. I decide to chance it but my daughter and husband got the buffet. We saw a Facebook live from this location which drew us in for the buffet. It claimed to have multiple choices of entrees along with salsa, vegetables for the soups and fresh tortillas. There were no bowls for the soups except tiny sauce bowls. Then the food that was there was old and sticking to the utensils. By the time my daughter and husband made it back with their food we agreed it looked awful. We asked the waitress if she could cancel what I had ordered from the kitchen and if we could pay for drinks because we didn't even want to eat what was on the buffet plates. She refused and said the only thing she would take off the bill was what I had ordered from the kitchen. $35 for 2 wasted plates of food and 4 drinks. I don't know who is running this restaurant, but your social media is a total lie about your food and drinks. You leave 2 staff members on a Saturday completely alone when it's supposed to be one of your busier times of the week? That's just awful for everyone. I felt bad for the waitress because of course it's not her fault, but this was one of the worst places I've ever gone to eat in Indianapolis. If you are gonna eat here, be ready for old, dried up food and probably an hour wait from the kitchen if you dare order from the menu. If I could give this place no...

Taste like they need to change their oil in the deep fryer. We sat our selfs after 15 minutes they finally asked us what we wanted to drink the waitor was never around when we needed him not one time did he ask if we were okay or needed anything. My food tasted like straight grease and the ajuas were like drinking water and tons of sugar they forgot our food since he didnt write it down. Very very very bad service. Dont know if there is a different cook but this lady served me straight grease on a toatada with tomatoes and avacado. And to end it all there card scanner just uped and stop working so we had to go to a atm get the money out and go back.......

They have a variety of mexican food. The whole setting makes me feel if I were in Mexico. They did take like 45 mins to make our food, but it came out amazing, so we will still be going back to try more of their selection of foods. Oh and they charge extra for more chips, I'd think they give us free chips due to the long wait for our food ( and they where not even busy) but oh well.
