We recently built our retirement ranch and decided to treat ourselves to some new furniture as well. We searched stores as far away as Chicago for a desk and dining room furniture. Desks were too large for our space, or of the assemble-it-yourself variety. Off-the-floor dining room furniture was either uncomfortable, the wrong size, the wrong wood or the wrong chair fabric. "Custom" dining room furniture was very expensive with limited wood and fabric choices. Then we found Circles in the Wind. Steve's suppliers will build EXACTLY what you want in about 6 weeks, and at a very competitive price. We found a desk that was the size we needed, and customized the top and privacy panel to make wire management easier. We selected the wood and drawer pulls from a generous selection of samples. We found a chair we liked, had it finished to match the desk, and selected a really sharp leather for the upholstery. I absolutely love it. (Now my wife complains that I only come out of the den to eat!!) For the dining room, we found a table we liked and Steve had the leaves custom cut to seat 6, 8 or 10 people. We found chairs with a similar leg design from another supplier. We couldn't find a buffet cabinet that we loved in any of Steve's catalogs, so I sketched one and he found a supplier to build it. The entire set was constructed from the same type of wood and finished at the same time, so the color match is perfect. Steve at Circles In The Wind has been nothing but fabulous regarding our purchase of the hickory and brown maple coffee table and matching end tables we purchased last year. First class all the way in handling every detail and made us feel very confident knowing that we had selected a fine company to do business with! Granted, with the pandemic, we finally ended up receiving our furniture a couple of months after Steve had initially promised us, but as frustrating as that can be, it was absolutely worth the wait! The tables were exquisite and we were extremely pleased with the craftsmanship! I could not have asked for anything better! We ran into a little hiccup with a blanket that was folded and placed on the lower shelf of one of our end tables, because the dye from the blue ink in the blanket had somehow leeched out and created some stray blue marks and lines across the bottom shelf. I called Steve to discuss, telling him about the situation and that I did not want to try anything myself for removing these marks, so we brought the table back in and he reassured us that he’d take care of it for us. A few short weeks later, we were back in and picked up our table. The work done involved a light re-sanding and finish of the area, but those blue marks were now gone and the table looked brand new again, and no charge at all for us! If Google allowed me to give more than 5 stars, I would. My wife and I were shopping for a bedroom set and we tried going to every big box store in the region, but weren't happy with any of the sets we saw. We found Circles in the Wind online and decided to head there to take a look. There were no annoying salesman and any questions we had were immediately answered. We ended up ordering a bedroom set and measured the room layout and found we needed smaller night stands. A quick phone call and a small fee later they were able to adjust the size of the night stands. Fast forward to delivery day. Due to the tight angles in my hallway and my own oversight, one of the pieces was impossible to get up to the room. They worked with me to find a solution and modify one of the pieces of furniture. Two weeks later they were able to re-deliver the last piece and it fits great. I've never gotten better customer service than working with Circles in the Wind. The quality of the Amish furniture is absolutely unmatched by anything you will find in a big box store. There was many different bedrooms sets that could meet many budgets.
