There are many adjectives which come to mind after my first visit to Bailey’s Candy, but the first ones are; warm, welcoming, inviting, and friendly.
We wandered in on a whim this evening, and I’m so happy that we did. Both of the owners were incredible. Friendly may not even be the correct word to describe them; they treated us like we were family. We had a wonderful conversation with them while we were there. It’s easy to see that they take pride in their work / products, and truly love what they do.
We sampled many delicious treats, and purchased a ton as well. Everything was amazing!!! Seriously… you have to try it for yourself!!! (Some of our favorites so far are the chocolate peanut butter fudge, the coffee fudge, the pretzel clusters, the sea salt caramel shells, the cotton candy flavored pulled sugar candy… and so much more, hahaha!)
I know this is is a lengthy post, but I can’t stop ranting and raving about our extremely awesome experience this evening. The owners are beautiful individuals who create really high quality sweets and treats with lots of love and passion. It brings joy to them and to their customers as well. On top of that, the prices so very reasonable. Visiting Bailey’s Candy is an...
Read moreMy wife and I found this store while browsing on Google Maps for "candy store." We were at ChestnutHill Township Park with our kid and were looking for something to do after. Once we found this store on Google Maps, we drove towards it. We parked and entered the store and started browsing. Almost immediately, the amicable owner steps out from the back room and offers us samples of fudge - absolutely delicious! We kept browsing the selection of delectable sweets and I was immediately drawn to the center display, which had different styles of chocolates (at a very attractive price point per pound). My wife and I selected several types to package. At the same time, our kid was running around and yelling out everything he wanted. Much to our chagrin, the owner was very patient and even offered some samples and treats for our youngin.
Without turning this review into a novel, we HIGHLY recommend this mom & pop-style shop for your sweet-tooth splurging. Great pricing, very friendly owners, and a decent selection of sweets and chocolates.
