Michael's Salon — Local services in Cheviot

Michael's Salon was horrible! When we walked in, the environment was dirty, dusty and disheveled. The staff was loud and obnoxious. We also stood at the counter for approximately 45 seconds to a minute before being aggressively asked what we needed by a shorter man with blondish hair. This same man just happened to be within sight of the front counter when we walked in but chose to joke around with the staff while we stood there not once saying, "I'll be right with you." or "How can we help you today?" Not to mention the lack of eye contact before and during the time he finally chose to say something to us at all. I was instantly turned off by his and the other staff's behavior, would never again step foot in that place or give them my money and would not recommend them to anyone. I am a long time customer of Michaels and he has been doing my hair for 20 years and has now been doing my daughters hair for 2 years. We both always leave satisfied with our services. Today I went in for a partial highlight and a hair cut and my daughter got a full highlight, shadow root and a trim. They both turned out really good and the price is unbeatable.. everyone in the salon is always so nice warm and Welcoming. Mike always offers cold refreshments, the laughs are endless and they really know how to make you feel at home. I usually have to bring my 7 year old along and Mike is always super nice to him and lets him feed the fish and makes him feel comfortable and right at home.. thanks for doing such a great job on our hair...

My Daughter and I have been getting our hair styled and colored at Michael's for several years now. We were referred by my mom because she loves this place. We were not disappointed! Michael does a fantastic job every time and his prices are more than fair. He is very accommodating. We are always greeted with a friendly smile and the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. You can tell they (especially Michael) care more about making sure you are happy with your hair and the service, then anything else. You get caught up in all of the conversations.
