T.J. Maxx — Local services in Cincinnati

Just stopped in to grab some work clothes while I was in the area. I live an hour away from any TJ Maxx stores so I was taking advantage of it while I was in this part of town. As I was shopping I noticed that all of the changing rooms were closed due to COVID-19. This is a problem for me simply because of the distance I have to drive. I decided to purchase a few items that I thought would work and proceeded to try them on in the bathrooms which were open ! While I was changing in the bathroom someone came in and proceeded to wash their hands slam the paper towel holder and while they were walking outside they screamed about merchandise in the bathroom. That should not be a problem considering the merchandise I had was already purchased. If the bathrooms are open for customers it should not matter if I’m using the bathroom or if I’m trying on my clothes that I had already bought! I came out of the bathroom obviously upset about the unprofessional Encounter that I had just experienced. I spoke to a manager who told me that in the rulebook customers may not try on clothes in the bathroom? I asked her to see the rule and she told me that that was confidential information. I don’t understand the problem if I am trying on already purchase clothing. I could’ve tried the clothing on in my car if I knew it was going to be that big of a deal. I was treated very poorly and will never be returning. That’s what you get with a small town TJ Maxx and small town employees who are unprofessional and overall...

I 💖 this location, for the most part, I always enjoy shopping and they have great deals for name brand items, a plus🤣. However, the last time I shopped, like maybe a month ago, I only brought a purse, it was a nice size... Went to the front counter, a white chubby short hair lady greeted me: she started telling a story about having a big purse whn she was young and loading it up w clothes and wht not, saying it could b a good or bad thing, while she's talking she's going through purse, checking to c if I hid any items🤔... The 2rd thing I didn't like... Is I declined the TJMaxx lil card, because I had to b in KY in 10 min to pick child up for daycare. I said to her, I'm in a rush, she still persisted. I told this lady, I'm never eligible for this card... She gets to lying, saying I b fine. Fast forward, I wasn't eligible, DUH! Because they go off ya credit. This lady, is still lying in my face, after she wasted my time as she know she's in the wrong. This ( child of God ) said , call this 1800 # and you'll be able to get TJMaxx card😒... A lie.... A week later in the mail, I got a letter, telling me I was decline because of credit... Duh ... Moral of he story is : After u indirectly accuse someone of being a thief...and u know u in the wrong... Don't, keep digging ya stupid self n a...

I usually shop for leather belts and purses here. For a long while I haven't seen a good belt that fits me. I am a plus-sized woman so I usually find belts that fit me in the men's collection that look unisex. They literally had two belts my size, but I didn't like the buckle on both. I tried shopping for some on Amazon, but the ones I ordered were too small even though it was my sizing on the label at least.

And back to TJMaxx: it seems the selection of black leather purses were shabby; I could tell by the thin straps attached to the purse. I purchased my last favorite black purse from there about 2 years ago. I was hoping I could find another one of similar quality, no such luck!!! And forget about the selection of clothing for plus-sized women. That's a joke! Is it even worth stepping inside of this store for me??? I'm...
