This review is about my experience dealing with the groupon for this company. I had purchased the groupon for the tiki pontoon boat and had checked the restrictions on the groupon multiple times. No where did it say it was ONLY FOR THE 7PM-10PM pontoon boat. BEWARE of this if you plan to use the groupon because it was not listed on groupon nor does it say that anywhere on the chicago tiki boat website. Because this information was not provided, when I went to book the boat the voucher was "invalid". The groupon said to redeem the voucher bring it upon arrival, which made me believe I wouldn't get the groupon honored until the day of our booking, which was fine with me. I went ahead and booked the tiki boat without the voucher code, thinking it would be redeemed upon arrival like the groupon said. I wanted to follow up with the company though just to make sure there would be no surprises day of. The person I spoke to on the phone was not friendly. When I explained the situation, she told me it was a groupon issue and to take it up with them even though it did not say anything on their website that they only honor the groupon for a specific time slot. She was not apologetic and did not care what I had to say. I then cancelled my booking because if this is the customer service prior to the actual experience then I do not want to see what it would be like day of. Read morePretty terrible customer service. We are a lowkey and easy group, but a few things were off about our experience. The bluetooth didn't work, nor the radio, so there was no music at all and they weren't too concerned about it despite us prepping a playlist and everything as it was a celebration. We also asked about a table to play games on and were told there is no table and to buy one ourselves. We did ($60), lugged it from Target to the boat, only to see there was in fact already a foldable table on the boat that we used instead. The final star negged is from the customer service when asking for an invoice. Countless emails were ignored until I called and got the worst attitude I've ever received from a business (for no reason... I guess bad day?) and a refusal to send an invoice for some reason. I had a reservation to celebrate 2 birthdays and had family fly in from different states just to get in this boat when we got to where our boat was suppose to be it was not there! We were told the boat we reserved and payed for wasn’t available that day yet they sent me a confirmation and took my money!
