Terrible service!! Rude manager. We gave our name in waiting list and were told that we will get our table in 15 minutes. While we waited in the corner I saw that the manager let in everybody else who came after us. I went and told him that we had been waiting for almost half hour and still haven't been called for a table. He said he doesn't have our name in the list. Lied straight to our faces. Luckily since I could see the waiting list, I pointed out our name written in there. He then told us that the next table would be ours. Finally we got our table. After that we waited for another 30 min and no waiter showed up to our table to take our order. Some tables who came after us were already getting food served. I was wondering what is going on. Everyone seemed very rude. We left finally as no one showed up to take our order and it had been 1.5 hr since we came to this place, we were so hungry. The manager didn't even apologize infact he didn't care at all. I would never ever recommend anyone to go to this place . This was my first trip to Chicago and literally the first restaurant I visited there during my trip. I was so upset by...

The service there is TERRIBLE! We have a boat at that harbor and were grilling that day. So we went there to get some sides of vegetables and rice. I told the hostess/server I would like to have enough of both for 4 people. She charged me 12 bucks and brought one little tiny side of rice and vegetables. Ok, maybe she misunderstood me so I ordered another round. After 30 minutes waiting for it I reached out to a server and she informed me they didn't have my food ordered. So I asked to speak to the manager and the server called the owner, Tiger, who showed no interest in what was going on and didn't even say anything. It showed me that the problem there starts from the top. The place is not worth it, the food is not good and everything I have ever had from there was very blend. Never again. Expensive and tasteless food and the worst service in downtown!...

Just SO overpriced...$20 for a less-than-Panera quality sourdough turkey sammich (which they called a burger) with stale crisps, $25 for 3 shrimp tacos that weren't as good as any neighborhood Mexican restaurant and $14 for a premade cocktail?! C'mon guys...Either the prices need to reflect the quality of the sub-par pub grub or the offerings need a SUBSTANTIAL boost in quality to match the prices. I'm totally ok with paying $20-$30 for a plate if the quality is there, but in this case, it wasn't...at all...The server was nice but considering it wasn't at all crowded, the food took some time to arrive and didn't help the overall experience. I guess this place would be ok for a beer (and only beer) and people watching but beyond that, I'd pass...

It was a hot day today, so Cafe Michelle looked like an oasis in a desert. Right by the lake next to the boat docks. The umbrellas offered a nice shade for outside seating. I ordered unsweet ice tea to quenche the thirst, then mimosa and a bottle of water. they asked me if I wanted smart water, then brought me regular anyway. I had to ask for the mimosa for a second time. The waitress said the printer broke and my ticket must have been lost. I also ordered roasted elote salad, but the elote ended up being just some corn and little cubes of queso de fresco. The salad was a dissappointment for $18. The drinks added another 18 dollars. I would say a bit pricey for the quality. Service was very friendly, though.

The place looks fancy from outside, but when we entered staff was very rude, there are spiders landing over our food from the umbrellas and food is over expensive. When mentioned about spiders the waitress said “spiders are out everywhere” and didn’t bother clean or move to a different table, when asked again she was arrogantly and called someone to clean. There are lot of mosquitoes out there some fell in our drink, which also they din’t bother to replace or refund. Instead the man at the bar said the drink is almost over. The waiters is not wearing mask properly when she came to take order or serve food.

It’s a nice setting, and the margarita was good. However, upon arrival, I was told I could only stay for 30 minutes despite the patio being mostly empty and remaining that way throughout my stay (see photo). Worse, when I asked for water, I was told the only option was to purchase it in a plastic bottle. Everything about that is unacceptable. Finally, when I asked for the bill the server left the machine on the table for me to check myself out. Customer service training for the servers and hostess would be helpful.
