Market Square Plaza — Local services in Chicopee

FINALLY something NEW in what I've come to know as the "Family Dollar Plaza" in the center! I've heard of but never actually shopped at Keyfood before. I'm glad to see something new to try down town! During a brief walk thru today I was pleased with how nice and clean it looks in there.. Everything looks to be in order, and you don't get that sense of chaos when u walk in like I'm finding quite often these days. Prices seemed to be equal or maybe a bit lower than expected, which is good. The 3 staff members I encountered were very polite and friendly. I'd be interested in comparing these particular things in 4 or 5 months from NOW, to see if it's their just opening best behaviors! But...

Has a family dollar, new supermarket and a metro PCs. Those are the goods. The bad is it's at a bus stop where lots of shady people hang and like 45% of the time your asked for something by someone with some lame excuse. Just park farther away from the bus stop. Go in and out and don't make conversation. Other than that the plaza has some good stores. Just mind your own business and you should be good. If not say you don't carry cash. If you can afford it and want to give away your money go for it but get in your car first and get out the money there. Be safe and away....
