Edit 2: Added photo of their "response" in case they try to change it to show the continued lying and rude behavior without any apology despite all proof presented. Also, after looking at the "recommended" after my review on their Facebook, they got their friends to write fake positive reviews, half literally copy and pasted from one another and makes me wonder if ANY of the reviews in the last two years are real

Edit: I should have waited till I went to get my next tat. They have given me the silent treatment for a week and after two phone calls with messages left on their voice mail, with no call back, I left a review on their facebook. Instead of giving a valid response such as "We forgot about the call as we have been extremely busy" or really any other "friendly" excuse, I got berated and personally insulted because THEY messed up. I don't know what happened in their lives since two years ago, but clearly it was something major and I wish them counseling. Until then, stay away

I am very picky when it comes to tattoos. I have a specific style that I want on my body and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades has accommodated me since my very first tattoo. Though my original artist no longer works at this location, I have not strayed from this shop. When you find a forever shop, you’ve found a forever shop. Sarah is my artist and she has always welcomed me and my creative ideas into the space. She is so talented, genuine, funny and supportive of all ideas. She really makes the process of getting a tattoo a wonderful one. When getting tattooed, you’re often in a very vulnerable state, regardless of placement. At HSHG the atmosphere is one that makes you feel comfortable — whether it’s the other artists sharing their own funny encounters or the calming grey walls which open up the room. Waited around 2 months to make 2 appointments for a full sleeve. Sent over 5 references with a description of what I was looking for. I got a response that said "Jim will have something really nice and ready for you on the 15th". I was met with 1 stencil of a mandala that was off of one picture I sent. He wanted to free hand a lot of it. What did I send these references for if nothing was going to be put together? He spent no time to actually put my references together and make a sleeve I saved a lot of money to pay for. Apparently getting a sleeve stenciled is too much to ask for and "doesn't work like that". I could see he was getting irritated the minute I asked this to be put on paper first.This guy was completely unprepared and odd in general. You'd think design time would be a factor in a tattoo that would cost that much money/time and be on a customer for life. Not here. Didn't get my deposit back. Good...
