I am writing this review for anyone considering booking an appointment at The Frame Salon and specifically with LINDA. Linda, I know you are reading this, and I am hoping you will do the right thing and refund my deposit.
On October 26, I reached out privately to request a refund of my $400 deposit, but I received no response. On October 31, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and as of November 9, I have still not received a response or a refund. Linda kept both my deposit and the hair extensions I paid for, despite never providing any service.
I initially booked this appointment because her work is beautiful, and I trusted her with my hair, knowing she has experience working with clients who have thin hair and hair loss. I paid the deposit for hair extensions but decided not to move forward after experiencing poor customer service and receiving insensitive comments when I sought professional guidance about my hair loss. Instead of helpful advice, I felt pressured to respond quickly, as if the focus was on securing payment rather than client care.
Linda mentioned her non-refundable policy only AFTER I had already paid. She later offered to apply the deposit to a future appointment, but I declined due to her lack of professionalism and empathy.
Keeping a clientās money and product without providing any service ā especially when the client trusted her with a sensitive issue like hair loss ā is UNETHICAL, UNPROFESSIONAL, and completely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI made an appt for a root touch up and a simple trim. $300 and 4.5 hrs later I walked out with a hair cap on my head and did my best not to cry.
Yasmeen should not be allowed to touch anyoneās head of hair. She rinsed my hair with freezing cold water and I was so uncomfortable. She asked two other stylists for help and this image is AFTER they attempted to fix it. I was flying to London the next morning and was completely mortified. I made an emergency call to my former stylist that moved and she couldnāt believe that Yasmeen received a license as even the simple trim was crooked.
When Yasmeen texted to me to see how her work turned out, I told her, āI think it looks cheap and tacky. I canāt believe itās on my head.ā She said, āIām sorry you feel that way.ā She offered to try to fix it if I returned that night, but I told her I didnāt trust her to fix it.
A stranger saw me taking this pic and said it looked like a teenager with the cheapest box of drugstore hair dye did my hair. š
No apology from the salon. What kind of a place allows a client to walk out with a hair cap?
I also found the language used by the stylists to be inappropriate. The cussing and drama was a bit ghetto and not something Iāve experienced at any...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was a client of Melissa for 30 years. She is an amazing hairstylist. Their was never a day I didn't love my cuts or color. Unfortunately my Dad passed away and my mom has health issues. And with that came anxiety which can be very overwhelming at times. One day I was heading for my appointment chino hills which is a go 30 minutes away. Traffic was getting pretty backed up called explaining the situation. But in all fairness I have had panic attacks in the passed with here. Probably about 5 or so. She decided I wasn't worth the trouble. I hope that if any of you have anxiety you don't go to her. She should just take time to care and listen to people. We all don't know what's going on in people life. She stopped cutting my hair due to anxiety. Don't waste your time I'd you have...
