We went to try this restaurant and hoped to get quality Indian food. It was a big disappointment.
We ordered following items:
Aamchi Mumbai sandwich: What a disappointment!! Potato stuffing was cold and was smelling like it is day old stuffing. Sandwich bread was toasted but stuffing was cold like it just came out of refrigerator. Cilantro chutney has just cilantro puree but absolutely no other spices. It was like cilantro juice. How the hell big name like kailash par bat get their chutneys wrong? For good cilantro chutney recipe go to YouTube and you will know what I am talking out.
Chole bhature: You can get better chole Bhature at gas station in San Jose. Bhature is complete disaster.
Paneer butter masala:
It came after 30 mins so we were expecting that it will salvage our evening. Gravy was so salty and watery and you can tell that it was just warmed in microwave.
We complained to wait staff about gravy being so salty and she said she will get the new one. Now we get the second dish in 30 seconds with absolutely no change in taste. That’s when you can tell there is no quality control at this place.
We were asked to tip after this horrible experience.
Let me end this by adding some value to your business.
If you open Indian restaurant in Southern California and serve fresh and quality Indian food ; you can make really good money. But if you cut corners and add water to your gravy and give day old potato stuffing you will be out of business pretty soon.
Thank you and hopefully you can make changes to your...
Read moreI recently dined at Kailash Parbat(Chino Hills), and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The flavors here are truly authentic and thoughtfully prepared. The decor is charming and reflects a piece of Indian culture, with soft lighting and music setting a relaxing tone. It’s a great spot for both casual family dinners and special occasions. What stood out most was the staff’s genuine warmth and attention to detail. They were attentive without being intrusive and offered great recommendations for first-timers. They also catered to dietary preferences with ease.(Separate full Jain/Swaminarayan menu) Appetizer and Drinks menu are unique and flavorful. Each bite was a perfect harmony of spices, rich flavors, and creamy textures. The Chole Bature was fresh and piping hot and paired beautifully with the Mumbai-style chaats. For dessert, the Gulab jamun Rabri was the perfect sweet ending—light, syrupy, and just the right amount of indulgent. Overall, I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic Indian/Mumbai meal in a cozy, family-friendly setting. It’s clear that this place is run with a lot of heart—and that shines through in every aspect of the dining experience My kids say- Food is yummy and absolutely – “Must try”.I would love to go eat...
Read moreKailash Parbat’s cuisine stands out from the typical Indian restaurants, serving northern and southern dishes
We started with lime soda mixed with the right amount of sweet, salty, and carbonation
The chaat is presented so beautifully. I highly recommend trying their pani puri, dahi wada.
Pani Puri - little puff cups can hold a lot of fillings and pani without breaking. The tamarind chutney was the perfect sweetness.
Dahi wada - this is a bit more on the softer side. It was topped with a generous amount of yogurt. It's just as good, packed to the rim with goodness.
Classic paneer tikka had a slight marination of some kind and paired well with red onions
Palak paneer is my favorite, so it will always be ordered. This was packed with creamy and savory flavor.
Chili garlic naan could use a bit more chili, but still, overall, 10/10
Chole Batura is another classic dish with fluffy batura, and Chana soaked in spices. I wished there was more chole: red onions and mango-like achar.
The ambiance is done well and classy—no overpowering of decor.
