Tastea Chino Hills — Restaurant in Chino Hills

Me and my boyfriend come all the time, he loves the karate chicken. Today we ordered two level 5 and when we got it I opened the box to find that one of them were fries. I went up and told them and the guy went and looked up the order and I heard him the tell the back that they messed up our order. I was already a little annoyed because I knew they only messed up our order because they were messing around in the back yelling and laughing, not because they were busy because they only had one other customer. Then I really got mad when they asked us for the fries back because it was for a different customer and when my boyfriend let them know we had touched them because the napkins were on top and I just wanted to check it to see if the order was correct. They told my boyfriend if we could pay for it and he did because it was uncomfortable and he didn’t want to look bad. But I have worked in the food industry and where I work we NEVER asked for the food back let alone make the customer pay. Like it was our fault. That’s ridiculous. They messed up not us. My main concern is that they ask for it back, were they seriously going to give it to the other customers? That’s a literal health code violation. The whole thing makes not want to come here. Came to try this place out after finding it on Yelp and I was in the area.

This Tastea is located in the outskirts of a large plaza, so it is really easy to miss. It sits next to other small establishments and parking is extremely plentiful. There has not been a line here the two times I came here but I imagine it does get packed around peak hours because of my experience at every other Tastea.

Now for the drinks. The drinks at Tastea are all really refreshing and tastea. I personally love the regular Green Tea, and if I am feeling like going the extra mile, a Green Milk Tea. Their Artisan Teas all have little bits of fruits in it and are really fruity and fresh. I have not been disappointed with any of the drinks at Tastea, but I do find that the Royal Milk Tea is extremely acquired.

Tastea also has snacks being served. I have tried their Garlic Fries as well as their Popcorn Chicken. Their snacks are good, but I feel like at times, they are just "Fries" and "Popcorn Chicken", but sometimes they go above and beyond and are...

This place was really cute with a nice vibe. The menu had a lot of interesting drinks to choose from. There was plenty of seating with wall plugs to charge your phone or laptops. The workers were very kind and made the orders very quickly. I only had a couple of complaints. There was no AC in the building so it felt pretty hot to sit in there. This place is pretty close to Chino Chaffey College, so I decided to sit here for a little to do school work, but they didn't seem to have a Wi-Fi I could connect to. And the final main thing was the lack of nutritional information for the food. Their website and their menus did not show the amount of calories I was consuming for popcorn chicken or any food items or drinks.
