The menudo is the best I ever had. Now having said that, the kitchen area is not clean at all. Ok let's call it like it is, it's filthy. You have to be very careful when eating out at different places because you never know how the kitchen looks where they are preparing the food, in this case you can see how clean or not clean in this case. Even the meat in refrigerator looks like it's going bad and everyone was cool with it. Can you say salmonella? I feel like I dodged a bullet sort a speak, but I'm not taking a chance at this market anymore. I used to work at terminix and we serviced restaurants that looked clean and they have a big roach problem, so just be careful when eating out they all have a cleanliness battle to be as clean as possible. Outstanding, not only do you get great quiality food to go, but also get an ice cold refreshment or libation on your way out. The cook is amazazing, the fresh "ChiChaRon" basically Fried Pork Belly with some green salsa is a fantastic snack. The store owners are great people, friendly and kind. I love the atmosphere, the variety of choice, the friendly staff, and it is family owned! Great food to eat like burritos, tacos, plates and freshly made horchata. If you like what you can have made for you, then buy some of the fresh and dried ingredients to bring home as well!
