This place is great for comfort food. The servings are big portions. There are old antique items from the old farms of Chino. You can watch the cook make your food if you stand by the register. You can leave your plates, trash and any silverware you get on the table. The people running thatplace are very friendly. There is plenty of seating. The food is cooked to perfection in my opinion. Fish burger was good and pipping hot! Great fries, too. It was my first time here. I know it's been here a long time. It was my dad's favorite place, so mom and i decided to try it today. My only complaint was the table. I was eating a burger my elbows were on the table. And the Wood trim on the table was so sticky. It wasn't syrup or anything. It is just grease from people. You've got to concentrate on that wood, not just the center of table. Because my sleeves kept sticking to the table. My mom's also. We were actually laughing about it .. This is a really comfortable, home style family-owned restaurant. Nothing fancy as far as decor goes, but the food is good, prepared fresh and quick too. Two favorites are the Patty Melt $5.39 with grilled onions, the steak sandwich $8.31. Also the Clam Chowder on most Fridays is really good! The owner is almost always on site and is super friendly.
