Why I went to Jered-The Galleria of Jewelry (Chula Vista): Date visited: Dec 1st 2023 around 10:15am As soon as I stepped into The Chula Vista Jewelry Exchanged, I wasn't welcomed nor approached by a sells person. Instead, I was signaled rudely by a middle-aged female to approach her while she sat behind her desk - ZERO effort. As soon as we made eye contact, her ENTIRE demeanor shouted: "I know you aren't going to buy anything, get out of here and stop wasting my time" category. Even though I had already strucken out w/ this female agent, I still went ahead to verify IF her negative demeanor and body language matched her future actions of her selling me a ring. Wow!, it did. I approached her desk, sat in a chair and wasn't warmly greeted, welcomed, nor did she smile ONCE during my 20 min stent I was there. I told her what I wanted and looking for (I had a budget), she stepped into her vault, and came back w/ roughly a tray w/ some twenty (20) or so items. After returning, she still had the same negative demeanor and vibe towards me. She made me feel 1,000,000% unwelcome. I felt SUPPER uncomfortable asking about the rings, looking at them from a far distance, trying my best not to reach into the tray w/ rings. Instead, I pointed at roughly 3-4 rings I was curious about, and was offered little to no explanation of each item. We spoke a little more about corresponding stones to each month, and left soon after. Next stop: Jered-The Galleria of Jewelry (Chula Vista) The experience at Jered-The Galleria of Jewelry (Chula Vista) w/ the assistance of Gina (sales person) was the COMPLETE opposite, night and day: I was greeted warmly, a smile, helped me get what I wanted within my price range, offered her professional opinion as to possible changes I could do to a ring along w/ customizations, showed me the clearance area, took the time to answer ALL my questions. In other words, Gina was fan-freakin'-tastic!!!!!! In the end, I was so pleased on how Jered-The Galleria of Jewelry (Chula Vista) and GINA took care of me, that I went ahead and bought TWO rings. Thank you Gina and Jered-The Galleria of Jewelry (Chula Vista) for understanding your customers while making them feel respected (and obviously, want our business). If I were to need or want any additional rings and/or up-grades, I'll be heading to Jered-The Galleria of Jewelry (Chula Vista) to...
Read moreThe appearance of the establishment speaks for itself, lacking effort and taking on the the shape of a flea market booth. After my interaction with the owner I felt as if I was at a used car dealership where I am being guaranteed a good deal but already know someone is lying straight to my face. The rumors of past employees suing due to an unorganized and downright rude management style make much more sense as of now. As a long time resident of Chula Vista I will never be going back as there are much more genuine people I'd give my...
Read moreI needed to get rid of a ring set that I had sitting for years. I came here and to Coin Mart down the street. Chula Vista Jewelry exchanged offered more money and were much more helpful. The gentleman who helped me, Manny, advised me to shop around first before accepting his offer. I spent a couple days trying to look for a better offer but I couldn't find anyone (jeweler or private sale) to buy my rings. I came back and the offer was still available. They helped me and I was in and out within 15 minutes....
