Posting this for a friend a 2nd time:
To tell you the truth, this was one of my favorite spots in South Bay for the last four years. Really friendly staff, decent grounds to at least hit off of and mats with shade. With that out the way, do not buy a range card or find another alternative like stadium golf, Bonita golf course or even Chula Vista down the street. I spoke with the owner tonight about a range card i had lost that had four buckets left on it. She told me there was nothing she could do. Mind you, again, I have been coming here for the last four years every Thursday, Iām a regular. Their system consist of giving you a card and hole punching the buckets off the card each time you receive one. The person at the counter then writes the card number and marks a bucket on a clipboard from what Iāve gathered. Now given her response, Iām not the only idiot that has lost a card, but what is the purpose of writing down the number of buckets and the card number if it is meaningless to the customer and also them if they donāt know the type of card it is hand how many buckets are left? I also ask why isnāt the customer protected when spending $70 for a range card? Itās easy to spot management, they are two Asian women and the younger asian one was who I spoke with tonight . She offered me one bucket for free rather than asking the staff who I have gotten to know over the last four years. I allowed another customer to ask a question and after words just walked away. If this is how you treat valued people in the community and patrons, then I want no part. Save your time, energy and money and not contribute to the scammers. This woman basically scammed me out of $36 and offered me $9. Not cool at all. So to be a complete jerk about it, Iāll make 5 profiles and repost this 5x, thatās my level of pettiness. -5 stars.
For the response below: If a man comes there 2 times a month for 4 years and spends $9 for four years, thatās $864 dollars towards your business. Let alone purchasing a range card. Not one time has he had any issues. You track cards and the range baskets, but how do you miss that he only used 8 out of 12. Things happen, things get lost or stolen that is out of someoneās control. Instead of arguing or becoming irate he chose to come here and tell you about yourself after having money left over that you get to keep with no baskets to show. Definition of a scam: to cheat or defraud a person. If he was honest enough to come to you and tell you there was an issue you have responsibility to rectify it, especially after money has been paid, let alone he being a regular face that is there that the staff recognize. Nice try though, plenty of poor conduct reviews on the internet about management. We just wonāt attend this place and call it...

Decent facility, could be great. First thing I would do is gut that travesty of a putting green and install an artificial putting green, you don't have to maintain it and people will certainly appreciate it. Place some good lighting on that new putting green and it will be a big step up. I would also place artificial turf all around the mats, would really improve the appearance. You could do some serious work to this place for less than $25K and really make it shine.
The only real knock I have is not being able to hit driver or any other woods here since I'll fly it into that jungle behind the range. I didn't hit anything more than a 7-iron because I didn't want to make any of your range balls disappear. Anything you could do to extend the distance would be cool, but not sure if you have any options there.
Anyway, just a bit of feedback. You've got a lot of potential here, hope you do something...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis range has so much untapped potential. The good: many lanes to hit from mats or "grass" as well as area to practice chipping. It also has lights and is open until 9pm.The bad: the grass in the range is horrible with so many holes and uneven ground that it's tough to find a good level and grassy spot to hit from. It's tough to practice when you have a horrible lie on the range. The grass in the chipping areas is a thick tough grass that I haven't seen on any nearby course. And the "greens" on the chipping area are full of holes and not maintained. I wish owners would improve this range. It would save me from driving 20 minutes to a...
