Michaels — Local services in Chula Vista

I don't know what happened to this Michael's but the person or people who run this location are doing a poor job. The store is really rundown. I went in today to look for some Christmas arts and crafts. I hadn't been there since about 3 years ago and dang! It doesn't even feel like a Michael's! I felt like I was in a 3rd world country store. There were some creeps walking around inside the store carrying backpacks. There was also a witch looking through the aisles searching for who knows what and this woman with a horrible cough that didn't even cover her mouth while she coughed...better yet stay home if you are that sick. I used to love coming here many years ago because they always had tons of nice items either for Christmas or Valentine's Day but today the shelves were practically empty. It was kind of sad actually to see this store in such a poor state. It definitely makes me only want to shop at Hobby Lobby. I did not feel safe so I'm not coming back again. Also it's too expensive compared to other arts and craft stores I like to visit. I would avoid this store because it doesn't even feel like a Michael's and some of the people that walk in look like they are going to steal. Too bad because it was kind of nice several years ago. It has always looked messy but at least you found lots of cool things to buy but now the store hardly has any items! I hope you open a Michael's in Bonita or even Eastlake because it would be way better than coming...

Hello Googlers! You're loyal Google guide, is back! And on track! And I am ready to whack! Out some good Google guidance!

Michaels! Was a joy to enter, and they are just packed with all the accessories. One would think they would need for creating artistic works of what have you as far as hobbies go! Not quite as packed as a hobby store, competing with them? But still well worth the visit! Prices are fair on most items unfair on a few others, but definitely returnable depot for people looking to save a buck when they're trying to express themselves artistically! I'm a bit of a painter, and I had to say that a vast array of things you would need from all sorts of media, including water, colors, pastel oils and like! Although I have to express my disappointment that they had no models, including vintage cars, new cars, boats, rockets, or transformers! Including my favorite Starscream. But! What they like in some items? They thrive and others.

With all that said four stars to Michael's you could've done five expand your selections and expand to a fifth star which I know you can do. I wanted to also say that you have a very pleasant stuff and thank you for that.

I Went in at 5:25 Wednesday afternoon to see a line full of people waiting to be checked out and only one cashier. I waited in line for ten mins unbeknownst to me I guess online orders need to push some button for a assistance upon arrival which I had no knowledge of doing. So not exactly happy with this place or the staff that I waited in line then was told to push the service button and wait in another line after already waiting ten mins. I mentioned I didnt know I was supposed to press the service button but sense It's my turn cant you help me. She said no I needed to press the button and wait again she cant log out even though she had just came to help and the previous time I waited she was not helping anyone nor at a register. the fact that there was a line full of people waiting to get checked out I don't see how me pushing a button would have affected me getting service faster the problem is that you don't have enough people working the registers and the staff has poor service skills. I'll be having future order delivered to avoid all...
