Not bad. Decent. Average. Buffets are opened back up now and this one was worth visiting. We happened to be in the area and saw the open banner sign.
Lunch is $15.25 adults and $1.25 11 and under. Dinner and weekends are $18.25 and $1.30 11 and under. Such a great deal! Beverages is also included. Everything is self serve. You pay, seat yourself, get your own utensils, napkins, and condiments. They have silverware and plastic utensils. I went for the plastic because some of the forks I picked up, had lip stick stains or food still.
Salad bar, fruit, dessert, sushi rolls. The seafood was decent with steamed clams, blue crab, salmon, baked scallops, coconut shrimp, shrimp w veggies, salt and pepper shrimp. The chow mein was surprisingly good. Same with the egg drop soup. It wasn’t overly salty, it was actually almost bland but perfect for us folks who like to season it.
Food was being replenished very often and hot.
Please be very careful because the floors are wet and slippery. It’s a disaster and slippage about to happen if they don’t put out the anti-slip mats...
Read moreBetter off with a family meal at Panda Express for half the price. It was gross. I wouldn’t go back. In addition I found a hair in the noodle station. My daughters waited a good 20-25 minutes to get their stir fry noodle & the meat was uncooked & bloody. The manager started “inspecting” and shredding the meat in front of me over and over after already seeing the raw & bloody parts of it. I asked her if she was going to bring them new plates because they waited so long and she still continued to play with the meat. I finally just asked her how is she going to fix it so she offered a refund for my kids so I just agreed and let my kids go for dessert. She kept asking me more details about the hair. I told her I had already thrown it out with the plate but she kept on asking about it so I gave her the color & length of the hair. She asked me if it was one of the cooks hair?? Idk what other details she wanted but it was honestly so frustrating to watch her try to shred the meat and then get investigated...
Read moreAs I sit here at Buffet House, I realized that I should’ve listened to that two star review. This place serves mediocre food for an unreasonable price. The quality just isn’t great, the orange chicken is drowned in sauce and it’s so sweet that I had to stop eating it. The sushi tastes like it’s been sitting out for a while, doesn’t taste fresh. The coconut shrimp was a huge let down as well. Nothing I ate sat well, I felt like throwing up and basically didn’t even finish anything of my plates.
The ambience isn’t the best, pretty loud and people constantly bumping with each other, and children crying. And not to mention the girl who is working the cash register, you pay before you sit, wasn’t the most pleasant person to interact with. .
Verdict: If you enjoy mediocre food, this is the place for you. If you prefer quality, don’t come here. This place was so bad that I literally wrote the review at...
